@Near - I appreciate a good sheeping as much (more) as the next guy - but are you just sheeping me? Are you going off your case from yesterday? What is your opinion of my logic to clear Shattered considering your case?

Shattered Viewpoint, do you join games to play Mafia or to just be a dickwad in them? You were obnoxious in Mini 1073, sure, but you were still playing and not pulling these stupid stunts with quick hammers wherever there's an L-1 to be found while saying practically nothing else. Hell, make that "literally," since your reads are useless if you don't provide some reasoning for them.

If Arugula flips scum, lynch the fuck out of Shattered Viewpoint. Don't care if he makes for a viable partner with Arugula or not; he's scum no matter what his role PM says.

"One must die today"

The remaining people on the shelf had no problem following this command. Maybe they were all shaken by the violence of the morning, and were looking for someone to blame.

Perhaps that's why, when Arugula's name came up, the votes just kept building inexorably.

Within minutes, the final vote was cast.

"Hahahaha"

"No, this cannot be! How?!"

"I told you, Dazriel, humans will never do the right thing. Your pawn drew them like moths to a flame."

"But, Arugula's soul was pure, how could they do this? Lord, what fools these mortals be!"

Below, Arugula's screams pierced the day as the now-familiar but no less frightening fire began to consume him.

Dazriel could not watch. As the screams continued he became more and more agitated.

"Perhaps you are right, Zydan. If these... monsters can destroy something as pure as that, then perhaps they do not deserve my protection. Let your minions do as they will, I cannot watch the rest of this."

By the time Arugula's screams stopped, Dazriel was gone. The demons had the advantage.

Arugula -

Chosen Townie

Even though it had taken only minutes to choose Arugula, night (or at least what passed for it in this place) came upon them quickly.

Two innocents had been burned now. The demons among them were hidden well, it seemed. As the darkness grew, sleep descended once again upon the inhabitants of the rocky shelf.

This time, the nightmares were different. Each of the humans laying on the cold ground was bothered by guilt and fear which manifested in their dreams. They relived Arugula's and Kcdaspot's executions and awakening to the sight of a mangled Technowc countless times that night. Each of them also witnessed a glowing, winged figure with it's back turned. For many, this caused even more dread than the previous images.

When the night had ended and light once again permeated the shelf, they awoke.

Once again, death awaited them. Applejack sat alone in the centre of the circle. Her head faced one way, her torso another.

Applejack -

Vanilla Townie

- was killed Night 2.

As fire consumed the remains, a new message burned its way into existence. The writing was more sloppy, the color a deeper red.

"You are almost mine. Choose again, one must die."
