Heck if I know, I just kept repeating it because people were listening to my reads and I saw no need to buss.
Mostly he was quiet and usually posted questions without giving opinions - people usually seem to like that.

The side of good had lost its driving force, and it seemed the people on the ledge could sense it. The intimidating message was having a marked effect as well. They hadn't even managed to find a single demon yet, and people just kept dying.

The people grew reserved, speaking infrequently and even then some of them only muttered a few sentences before lapsing back into silence.

Finally, it was as if a damn had broken. Frustration, fear, and hopelessness led inevitably to anger and accusation. Accusations turned into votes, and singular votes turned into a majority. The target was someone who had been very quiet thorughout the ordeal. His only real moments of animation were when someone else was about to die. This was suspicious, they all thought to themselves.

And so, Shattered Viewpoint found himself at the center of the circle, preparing to face the flames. Only... none came.

Instead, it was as if a rift opened in the air behind him, a hole that led to darkness. Suddenly a hand, or perhaps a claw, snaked out and grabbed Shattered Viewpoint around the middle. Mottled with scars, red and pulsing with a raw, putrid heat, the hand pulled him through the rift. His scream quickly was cut off by a meaty crunch.

Among those remaing, two looked at each other and grinned, their hair falling away and teeth elongating into sharp canines. As Thor and Near completed their transformations, their master stepped through the rift.

Zydan stood, looked out over the terrified humans, and laughed. Hell had won, and now finally had the advantage in the eternal conflict.

Heaven would not last long.

While Thor is certainly a convincing player, I do feel town let this loss happen for the most part. Aside from a few notable exceptions (who were quickly night killed), activity wasn't great and it allowed the scum to just coast along.

Oh, I agree, I think your mistake was in calling him obv. town due to other people. Let's review the Near=town crew.

Thor - a scumbuddy, started it and was loud about it.
Tech - basically agreed but based his logic off Thor town as well.
Applejack - strongly stated read after replace in.

That's really it, everyone else was mostly just fluffing it and not offering real reads. That's not exactly a massive plurality that you should listen to if you disagreed with the read (take a look at how many people called you town - everyone but Hyperion pretty much) Big difference in read strength.

It's actually not an intrinsically bad strategy - of course the reverse would have been that you were actually the towniest player, so keep that in mind, we brought you to lylo just fine with the plan of having you there.

Mostly an exercise in poor timing for communication - but we do have some decent discussion of our strategy that might be helpful for those who were killed or not killed.

My death should have pointed to scum or chosen in the Tech/Thor/Near/Giitah alliance. When Arugula flipped chosen that gave an even more increased chance of scum among that bunch. After the Arugula lynch the lynchpool should have been those three, and no one else.

Thor and Near, why did you kill me D1 if I had strong townreads on both of you?

For me, because you and Giitah were the least likely to be lynched and therefore should die. I preferred killing you because I thought you would be the harder mislynch, your reads mattered very little to me in choosing your death, your lynchability mattered a great deal.
