He's admitting it's bad in a LARGE game. Which it is.
Preview Edit:
@Tierce...that's an awful vote. How the FUCK is it opportunistic? And then again, how the FUCK do you see that as any different than my vote in the next post?-

redFF's tone reeks of "boy oh boy we caught a pseudo-scumslip party time". Look at how he addresses nhammen. Why is he apologizing for stringing him up? If he was THAT cheerful as town, he would be keeping it up, delighted that he had found a legitimate slip and would see someone flip scum very soon. He knows the slot is going to flip town.
And frankly, the number of situations in which this happened/didn't happen is not statistically significant, IMO.
As for you, I don't have a read yet. (Though thinking back that reaction to my vote shows a different mindset from redFF's, so town points for you I guess. I have to analyze this further.) And you're not going to get reads on 'everyone' on D1 of a large from me.-

But not because of the claiming - it's because of the stifling of all discussion that happened due to the claim and how long it took. So, if you're here, there's no reason not to claim (well, at least no reason that anyone has brought up).
P-edit: tierce, no, bad tierce.sa vrede?-

This is true, the accusation itself is kinda crap, but nhammen justifies the accusation by trying to counter it, when he could have just said this:
and been done with it.In post 445, nhammen wrote:Either way, this is a bad argument.-

No, I was talking to you, but that was but one of the many rhetorical statements I simply make to express displeasure with something.

How about 'anyone'?Ski mask? Check! Sawed off? Check! Guilty conscience, fear of death? Check! Check! Check!
Get to know me. Or don't. I won't tell you what to do. I'm not God. Or your father. Or your boss.-

So it's four.
I think nhammen has been scummy this game, and I definitely agree with Rhinox that his reaction to this has been tragically desperate, but unless I can get a list of the games nhammen has been in and for which this pattern holds true, this case is dumb.
Singer: I hate your posts because the first few are like this:
singer wrote:Read most of the thread. My eyes tend to gloss over paragraphs' worth of stuff, but, meh.
The last couple of pages were actually entertaining.
Anyway, tally ho.
which has no critical content, and then they're like this:
Not while a mass claim is going on please and thank you.
which actively discourages content, and then they're like this:
How is it a joke... I legitimately don't get why he'd post something like that.
In any case, massclaim shitfest over and all, rereading the thread cuz I forgot everything I read already. Except that I said the last two pages before I replaced in were funny...I wonder if I'll still find them funny...
Last couple of pages thus far...
JD seems a little try-hardy but I've never played with him before so.
Primate's town.
Glork...do you feel that "short-sighted"=scum? Or are you basically calling everyone who thinks you're scummy for a bad idea dumb? For the record, I wouldn't consider that a gambit if you had legitimate reasons for doing so, and you actually got half (more than half?) the players on board. What do you think of Tierce emulating your scum-play if you consider it "too reserved"?
In any case, as dumb as it was, this leaves any unclaimed/lying watchers/trackers/docs freedom to choose targets and force scum to gambit with night kills.
which has the bare minimum of content, in which you give a town read and a kind-of-scum read, and then they're like this:
I saw no claims other than bv's since this post. If I missed it, welp, then I was wrong. With at least a page and a half-two pages of Tierce/AGar/Quag/Quil discussion going on in between. Again, I stand by it being poor timing and awkwardly optimistic.

The fuck...

vote: nhammen
bv's next.
which is a completely uncritical acceptance of iam's case on nhammen.
PBP is unnecessary here, because all of your posts are along those themes.
And I think it's weird that Tierce didn't comment on your vote too, because that was the definition of opportunism.SEND THE VECTOIDS-

Not really sure what the point of your post was except to say that you disagree with the way I play.
In any case, why do you automatically assume it's an uncritical acceptance of iam's case as opposed to a critical unacceptance of nhammen's reaction? That's pretty clearly neither my thought process nor my reason for voting nhammen.
In any case, it's perfectly reasonable to think the MC should play out without interruptions/distractions. As that did not happen, the game must go on, so...cry about it?-

Sorry to have to do this, but I just started a new job, and at the same time, my laptop is succumbing to entropy and its ability to connect to the internet is becoming increasingly sporadic. I think I'd be kidding myself if I tried to pretend I could keep up with any mafia games right now.Elapsam semel occasionem non ipse potest Iuppiter reprehendere-

Said this many times that he's gone from disinterested to absent; that's not indicative of anything thus I have a neutral read.
I would like to take this time to note that I believe I am developing a blind spot towards Tierce; I'm finding it too easy to excuse her behavior as her trying to impress us or trying to use knowledge that I'm not entirely sure she understands, so I'm finding it hard to justify any of her actions as scum. I'm worried that this is a problem for me going forwards.

Noting my agreement with this. You guys are going off of a pretty terrible fallacy there - note that you don't have a town VT claim with which to compare as well, and that your sample size is the hilariously insignificant 4.
I'm somewhat pleased with the way singer is responding to pressure by actually playing, even if she's not really getting anywhere and being uselessly antagonistic. NEXT TARGET ON THE ACTIVITY OR DIE LIST
