It started out at taking what he says at face value, but it didn't stay that way for long. What Trollie has posted in thread thus far is more than enough to call him scum without including MattP in the equation at all.

there really isnt any value of town MattP thinking I'm scum. but i still wasnt gonna make it obvious I was town because in this game even scum doesnt know if i am town or scum. I did consider the potential that he was fakeclaiming but (a) because, as you can see, he is very eager to prove his superiority over me in this game (since he pretty much sucks at everything else) and thats why i think he realclaimed mafia just to rub it in my face when he got me mislynched as scum and (b) it didnt matter if he was fakeclaiming or not because as i said i didnt want him to know my alignment.

And now that you've put all of your reasoning out in the open, why not prove yourself town to Matt?

NS is town because of nuances in his tone from my private conversation with him. It's mainly gut, but I find that he has a more open dialogue with others in game and it was the same way in private conversation. We discussed why I thought Amrun was scum. He told me that I seem very town to him but that:

Which followed with his honest, open dialogue, and there were a few more towntells along this line. He said something that I don't feel I should say out of courtesy to him that made me convinced he was town as well.

Reck is town because of posts 28 and 33, they absolutely bleed town.

I was just talking with Trollie and he initially told me that the reason why he didn't go to thread as soon as I claimed scum to him was because I got to thread first and posted our logs. He said that if he got on MS first he would have been able to post the logs and call me scum for claiming Sicilian scum to him. HOWEVER, between our conversation where I claimed scum and the time that I posted the logs he had posted several times on this thread, meaning that he had the opportunity to post the logs but did not, so he just lied again.

She's done nothing but talk theory and overexplain simple reads such as "MattP is definitely Town" which is not a read she'd have already if she were town, and attempt to fake scumhunting with inane questions that really don't lead anywhere (e.g.: "did you want to not bring your laptop because you wanted to be able to talk to Reck and Grimm?") all this AFTER she called me supposedly confirmed town (I "townslipped" about the set-up as soon as the game started, but then she said contradicting things like "I don't feel comfortable claiming to you" which didn't fit with her supposed solid town read on me.)

Fate town slipped by not understanding the full mechanics of the scum team / thinking we're in a traditional multiball. He later said he could easily fake this sort of reaction, but I don't think it would be a necessary measure that early as scum. More than enough to hand out a d1 pass. "confirmed town" is stronger language than I'd use to describe that read, obv.

In the car on the way to Reck's, Fate claimed scum to me (NY, recruiting). This is another townish thing, because I don't think scum are looking to burn their n1 on a recruit. Poe night kills need to happen first, so all of the private scum claims we see are coming from gambit img town. Also why I think Matt's is pretty town here, because he attempted a similar gambit.

I know reck and esurio's roles. Fate knows mine, so by proxy so does Reck (town read of Fate's).

I haven't told anyone Nuwen's fakeclaim, I don't see the benefit in it until we run her up and she claims in thread.

Even if I die before I say it, its not of much importance. Too much importance is put on claims (yes I know I was putting importance on Trollie's softclaim even though I knew he could easily be scum just setting up a PR claim, but I figured he'd be dealt with as fakeclaimed scum later and we could lynch Nuwen today), the fact stands that Nuwen is scum regardless of what she claims to me or anyone else.

Nuwen, in one of her long scumrants about theory and speculation, that town SHOULDNT be townhunting openly in thread becuase that helps the SCUM PoE who their other scumbuddies are.

Yet here she is going in to detail about why I'm town when there was no reason to discuss as much (I was in no danger or pressure whatsoever)

AKA:

1. She contradicted herself AGAIN (town shouldnt townhunt openly it helps scum -> here's why fate is town)
2. She posted it to show "reasoning" and a "thought process" in order to be seen as town for having reasons behind why she has read me as town (which she genuienly hsa, since she's hunting for her other team as well)
