Why wouldn't he be able to do that.? The ability claim could be just random words that seem related to the theme, anyone can invent them. Doesn't everybody? Also, if you're scum, the logical thing for your partner to do would be to "corroborate" your claim by saying they were targeted. So that's pretty WIFOM to me until the moment you flip. (if you do get lynched/NKed soon) If you do flip correctly though, this would tell us a lot about more than one person in the game...a good choice I believe.
