The only way this makes sense is that he figured he was going to get lynched, and thus wanted to flush out the jailkeeper before getting hammered. Admittedly that is pretty far fetched, but he stated he is exasperated which makes it plausible for me. So I think there is a good possibility he is scum.

Eh, I kinda get where you're coming from but I don't think projectmatt getting cold feet over the redtail lynch is as terrible you're suggesting, especially given his justification for doing so in Post #187. The one thing I do dislike is the certainty with which he expresses that redtail is going to flip town in Post #174 (seems totally out of place). I'm not really taking it to mean anything major atm though and I could be totally misreading that statement.

Alright, I've had a night's sleep and calmed down a bit. Rereading this morning, here are my thoughts:

i would GLADLY go 1 for 1 here if scum decides to quickhammer

given that i explicitly stated i did not want a hammer you're going to have to try again

Deadjoker's logic is BS. I was clearly annoyed with the proceedings that put me at L-1 causing me to claim earlier than I should have (yes, I ****ed that up). If anything, that would suggest I was using my roleclaim to do precisely what he suggests: pull out the real PR; if that fails, I get saved. He then acquits me because I commented that I was exasperated. Smells scummy, trying to dodge having to place the hammer. Keep in mind, a hammer on me would've immediately brought the wrath of god down on the hammerer.

Projectmatt's hemming and hawing doesn't strike me nearly as suspicious as its timing. He expressed the thought that I might be town right after Hibiki started questioning it, perhaps preparing for a gradual lessening of the wagon and shift onto somebody else. Notably, he hasn't really expressed suspicion of anybody else, save a throwaway line about syn and petapan (hardly the most daring of thoughts).

I mean, I absolutely want to believe that you're town but all of my logical reasoning so far points towards the opposite. (IE: your nauseating confidence towards a Red lynch and a somewhat uncanny refusal to attack Syan when he's done a lot worse, IMO.)
