It was more that I was fine with voting him at the time considering the redtail wagon wasn't taking off despite my efforts to try and push it so I was fine moving my vote to someone I had PoE'd as a possible scum candidate. I moved it away from Robert after he claimed because I felt his claimed really owned hard (if you want me to get into the details of why, then ask).

Just wanted to clarify the intentions behind the vote shift.

EBWOP: Well, I'm not exactly sure what the timing was regarding the redtail wagon, I just distinctly recall a feeling that it wasn't going to go through.

Ok, here it is piece by piece:

"So now that I have been outed, is it normal for town to have both a roleblocker and jailkeeper in a game of this size on this site? This is my first game here. It seems a weird combination."

I felt like this line regarding his ignorance of setup mechanics here felt really genuine and really helped explain why he avoided comment on the redtail wagon (which is something I found scummy initially). This was further reinforced in the following post where he explains how he's new to the site and his prior mafia experience, all of which I find really unlikely to be faked.

"The initial reason for your vote was your posts around page 3 or 4 I think where you pushed redtail, plus general attitude. I get the intimidating thing as a strategy either way but it's definitely something I'd challenge. Call it tunnelling or confirmation bias but I have taken things you have said in reaction to my accusation to also be scummy. If you are looking for an apology, I am afraid it is not forthcoming, because I feel regardless that it has elucidated a lot, not only about yourself but particularly, about others have reacted. Hence my suspicion of the Tux among others."

His explanation of why he targetted petapan for reactions here also feels like it comes from a genuine desire to fish for reactions. I think the line about challenging intimidation tactics seems far more likely to come from genuine conviction rather than scum trying to disrupt or muddy the waters.

"I think DJ is scum and is unsure about being on my wagon because of all the suspicion that has already been heaped on him. Ain't going to work champ. I am also very wary of Tuxedo as I alluded to before given that he is claims "hard town reads" on people without evidence, and then when pressed for it, admits they did say a few scummy things. Whether he is buddying townpeta or protecting scumpeta, I don't like it. Also that new guy who made the big post about dumb accusations and about how policy lynches suck but then proceeded to vote me deserves another look."

Not much to say here but I also think his read on deadjoker and Tuxedo here own fairly hard. Maybe I'm underestimating his skill, but I'm finding it really hard to believe this is the product of fake scumhunting by someone who is allegedly relatively new to forum mafia.

tl;dr - there's a consistent and natural thought process in here that I think is far more likely to come from town than from scum. Hard to explain, but yeah.

If we do have a roleblocker and a jailkeep what might we suppose about the rest of the setup? Should we expect a 3rd town power role? Should we expect a 3rd town power role and a scum power role? If we should expect a scum power role what are common scum power roles right now?

Oh, I thought you were responding to my post.

Carry on, then.

Btw, you should probably read my gay and long wallposts because I don't want to have to deal with bullshit paranoia regarding whether I'm obvious town or not (I am).

Perhaps I should ask it this way: are there any MS normal mechanics that would 'mess with' roleblocks (other than mafia roleblocker, how would that even interact)?

Very mild FoS on Hibiki for not wanting people to discuss site meta.

Trust me, I've tried to improve my scum game so many times and nothing seems to work...I'm almost always a D1 lynch except for like the odd game.
