Why did you go from this:
Romanus wrote:Calling the subject he brought up a red herring is hardly defending him. I am doing the same thing other are, calling him on even bringing it up, because it is a red herring. The debate on that subject is useless, debate about B rob bringing it up is not useless.

If I could figure out the
VOTE COUNT
I might even put a vote on B rob.

Turning the town to debating a useless and confusing topic is a great way to get people voting for things other than the fact they believe someone is scum.

I hope that helps Yosarian2
to this
Romanus wrote:B rob, those are very good points, I don't like bluemonick either. So,

UNVOTE; VOTE: Bluemonick
?

I thought you were defending B Rob, and then you quickly clarified your statement, said you didn't trust B Rob, and said you might actually vote him once you saw a vote count. However, you never did vote for him, never even mentioned him again, and in fact actually followed him in voting bluemonick only 5 days later.

I'm starting to suspect that b rob and romanus might be scum partners; when i accused romanus of defending b rob, he suddenly turned around and attacked him, in kind of a half-harted way, but it was a short one-shot thing he never went back to or followed up with a vote. Between the two of them, I think romanus is the more suspicious at the moment, so I'm going to
unvote
vote:romanus
I don't like this at all. This is an attack on the most immediately vulnerable player and an attempt to tie a long-term vulnerable player to him. The more I think about it the less I like it.

What do you mean by "vulnerable" player? Do you mean "likely to be lynched today"? Well, that's true, you an Romulas both look like people who could get lynched today, but a better way to say that would be that you are both "scummy looking players" at the moment.

So, what you are basically saying is that I was trying to see if there was a possible tie between two players who both were scummy looking players.
And that is basically true; I noticed some posts of Romulas that didn't seem to fit with each other, and I attacked him for it because it seemed possible that they represented a link to another player I consider to be scummy looking. He had decent responses to my questions and to other attacks against him; not great, but decent enough to move Romulas back to 2 or 3 on my list of suspicious players instead of 1.

It just seems convinient that two of your top suspects are linked in your mind. I am, of course, going to deny that such a link exists.

Also, do you really want to set this up? If Romanus is scum and he's lynched first, what do you expect will happen?

I think that if he's scum, then based on his responses to my accusations I may be better able to figure out tommorow if you're his partner or not.

I think we may have been waiting for the deadline to lynch someone. Which I don't like, but also sort of participated in.

I think it's suspicious because I think Romanus is scum and I don't want to be set up if he is.

What a complete waste of a day. We get absolutely nothing from a Coron mod-kill. All we have now is Yosarian's death and whether he was killed (1) because he was suspicious of the right people and the mafia were scared of him or (2) because he was suspicious of the wrong people and the mafia are trying to frame them. In other words, nothing. At least not until we actually lynch a mafia.

That's an irritating way to end the day. I finally feel like we were getting some discussion, and one player gets modkilled for inactivity? If that happens again, I will ask to be replaced... that's rather ridiculous.

I'll go back to my
Vote: Mariyta
. Pretty comfortable with some pressure there right now.

Glork, dear, please keep this game rated G. There are minors here, after all.

Oh, and you're completely off base w/ that vote. ;)

Vote: B Rob
I like this one.

Oh, and for the record, just because Glork says someone is a bad lynch, that doesn't mean I'm going to listen. Glork could, after all, be scum. Too many people follow him blindly (myself included, I will admit).

Mariyta, please go back and assess the D1 wagons against B Rob, and explain why you don't think they were scummy. Please also re-state your case against B Rob, citing specific quotes/links which make you think that B Rob is scum.

I'm not you, Glork. I'm not going to write 18 pages on why I think someone is scummy. But I will say this: He seemed to completely disappear when he was near lynch, even saying he was watching the game, just not responding. Then, when the pressure is off, he's back in full force. That just screams scum to me.

...but oftentimes with scum, it's the opposite. Pop in to defend yourself when people are putting pressure on you, then fade back into the shadows once that pressure is gone. BRob's behavior is
inconsistent
with scum behavior, as far as I can tell. And as I've said before, the last wagon that almost got him yesterday popped up *SOOOOOOOO* quickly, I can't help but think it was scum-driven.

Yeah, this is strange. Not that I'm unhappy with it, of course, I just think people should be expected to defend themselves.

Yos is a pretty skilled player (I've played/am playing with him) so it stands to reason the mafia killed him for his skill. My vote stays.

sup all, you people need to pay attention to who's posting and who isn't. Let this be a lesson to you all. Fortunately, I've been sortof keeping up with the thread. I'm not sure what was up with the B Rob wagon. Mariyta's response to Glork doesn't seem very logical, unless Mariyta thinks that because he's scum he didn't have a good response to the arguments against him. If that is the case, I would like Mariyta to restate the arguments that started the wagon against B Rob (the ones that he was lurking to avoid answering).

spectrum, how does why Yos was killed relate to your vote? Just because he's a skilled player doesn't mean he's very likely to find scum on Day 1. I think you're reaching a bit much to find a reason to vote him.
