just thought about a possibility. The mod could have picked some random villagers and given them to increase the voting for king. Having only the crier and assassins vote for king means that the crier would be the person who chooses the king each day, and that is more powerful than being the king alone.
NEXT TIME ON DRAGONBALL Z!
"I'm gonna be king of the pirates!" - Naruto Uzumaki (Bleach)
more people than the crier can vote.
i know that for sure, especially since UCT has already talked about his power to vote, and klick has talked about his power to vote.
i would like to know who cannot.
it is not only powerroles who can vote, don't worry

^ This cannot be. This is an semi-open game. Your speculation sounds more of a bastard game, which this is not. The rules explain how the votes work.

would you be okay with that?
It is in your power, so you can try.
But I am not ok with that because I think you are town. If I'd thought you were scum I would not have revealed my PR.
When I get back home, I'll go into more details about how I am thinking about my PR.
i didn't send in my picks for king before the pregame deadline so i have no idea if my votes count or not. i confirmed via PM, then i spent a couple days wondering why my chest hurt so badly, then game started before i could make a decision.
There is something else that confuses me in the OP:
You are the King's Elite Guard. You were an unimportant Nobleman's son. Since you were 3, you've been trained in diplomatic, swordsmanship, and healing practices. Now that the time of the King has come back, you've been sent to a local village to ensure they survive. Once per night, you may guard a villager and protect them from any late night visitors, and to
guard them if they decide to visit another
. You win when there are no more Assassins alive, or nothing can prevent the same.
The only roles in this game outside of said Guard that can "visit" another player is an assassin.

Ok.
If you don't get executed today then I want you to send in your vote for king at night. If it doesn't work, it doesn't work, and depending on whether or not anyone else had their votes counted or not, the town figures out what the fuck is happening with these votes counting or not counting and if you're scum slipping or not.. If it does work, great.
Fuck it, this should be going to everyone- send in your picks at night. This should be common sense.
