Game Rules:

Rule 0: Don't be a dick.

- If you are being a dick, you run the risk of force-replacement or modkill. You may or may not be warned.

General:

- Please adhere to the site rules.
- Do not discuss this game of mafia outside of this thread unless your role PM allows you to do so.
- Day phases will last 10 days maximum.
- Night Phases will last 24 hours maximum.
- During night phase, no talking may be done in the thread.
- Do not quote PM's from the mod at all (real or fabricated). Paraphrasing is acceptable.
- If you have any questions about your role, or the game, feel free to PM the mod.

Voting/Player Actions:

- All votes must be in bold format:

vote: Nexus

for example.
- Try to unvote before voting. Unvotes must also be in bold.
- Any and all votes will be counted, if you wish to waste a day phase voting for someone not in the game,that's fine by me.
- You may vote No Lynch.
- Voting tricks are not acceptable. If you misspell someone's name intentionally, but I get the gist of it, the vote will count.
- A lynch will occur once a majority decision is reached. If no majority is reached by deadline, then no lynch shall occur.
- Following a lynch, it is twilight. You may continue to post until I lock the thread and declare it night.
- If you are killed, one Bah! type post is permitted. No game related information must be relayed during them, however.
- If you have a Night Action, you may submit it from Night 1 and each subsequent Night. No other time.

Activity:

- You are expected to post at least once every 48 hours. If you haven't posted for 48 hours, I shall prod you. If you do not respond to the prod within 24 hours (either in thread if it's Day, or via PM during the Night) then I will replace you.
- Similarly, if you require more than three prods, I will force-replace you.

Mechanics:

- Blue is my colour. Please don't use it.

- Confirm by how your Role PM tells you to once you are ready to play. Once there are 7 confirms, the game begins.
- Do not edit your posts.
- No impossible/hard to read text, or cryptography.
- The Mod may make mistakes - please point out any mistakes gently. Mistakes will be corrected where possible, but sometimes mistakes are made that cannot be reversed. These will stand as final to be commiserated over after the game.
- If there is a hydra in the game, you must not post in your normal account. Doing so and then not quoting it as a hydra will invite a warning. Excessive failure to post as a hydra and not quoting it will result in force-replacement.
- If you need to get the mod's attention, either PM me, or bold the text you wish to draw to my attention.
- I reserve the right to alter/remove/add any rules as I see fit. You will, of course, be notified if that happens, however.

"But, they're otherworldy creatures...they may have tricks that we ourselves don't understand, young master."

Artemis chuckled. "Do not fear, old friend. No harm will befall anyone within Fowl Manor. I am Artemis Fowl Junior. I will not be beaten. Aurum Potestas Est. Gold is power. We will beat the LEP, and we will be rich beyond our wildest dreams."

Butler raised an eyebrow. "We're already rich beyond our wildest dreams. Well, you are."

Artemis smirked. "A joke, Butler? How very...interesting."

The bodyguard shrugged. "I'm an interesting man. I like to surprise you."

"Just don't be whipping out the face paints and clown shoes, that's all I ask."

Butler shook his head and left to carry on with his rounds.

"Can we beat them?" Holly Short asked her four-legged companion.

"Of course we can. The Mud Men don't stand a chance."

"Are you sure?"

"Holly, Holly, Holly, when have I ever steered us wrong before?"

"Careful now Foaly, if your head gets any bigger, you won't be able to leave the shuttle."

Foaly gave a whinny. "I don't need to leave the shuttle. I'll leave the front-line duties to you."

At that moment, the door burst open. In walked the remaining above ground fairies. There was a clamour of noise and activity. The loudest voice, belonging to the LEP Commander, Julius Root, carried over the din. "Centaur. Why haven't you stopped time yet?"

"Just waiting for the order, sir"

"PUSH THE DAMN BUTTON CENTAUR BEFORE I PUSH IT WITH YOUR FACE"

"Yessir."

Time stopped.

Artemis Fowl Jr. was looking at the monitors with interest. He smirked, and beckoned Butler over.

"What is it, sir?" the bodyguard asked his charge.

"Just watch."

The two humans watched the monitors closely, as events unfolded in front of them.

The fairies were having an intense argument. There was a lot of disagreement in the camp, and Commander Root was trying to mediate, in his usual fashion.

"WILL YOU ALL SHUT UP? I'M TRYING TO THINK."

"With respect, Commander, this is a pretty cut and dried case."

"Well I don't know how you can say-"

"STOP TALKING."

"Yes, sir. Sorry sir."

"YOU!" the commander roared, pointing at the smallest member of the team, who was cowering behind his big brother. "What do you have to say for yourself?"

"Uh...uh, you re-re-remember, I am the only member of LEPtrieval One who faced off against the man-mountain Butler. I'm the youngest member, but I'm the bravest!"

"Yeah, so brave," one of the other fairies quipped. He was quietened by a look from the Commander.

Root let out a huge sigh. "Well, I'm not so sure. How do we know you're not working for the Mud Men, and that's why he left you?"

Corporal Grub Kelp let out a squeal. "Don't be so ridiculous."

"Well, I'm afraid that you haven't come up with a compelling arguement. Take him to the Deeps."

The Fairy continue to protest his innocence, as he was ejected from the Time Stop.

Butler couldn't believe it. He'd failed in his duty. He'd failed to protect Artemis Fowl Jr. The Fairy folk now had his charge, and they'd soon be coming for him. He'd faced down trolls, assassins, and the elite LEPRecon unit, but he was now going to fail.

There was only one thing for it. He would have to go down fighting.

Wrapping the goggles that Artemis fashioned for him around his huge head, Butler made his way out of the house, into the garden. He didn't need the goggles, however, as the Fairies were all unshielded.

"Game over, Mud Man."

"Not yet, it isn't." Butler raised his pistol, and his finger started to push down the trigger. Quick as a flash, Root had reached him, and was mesmerising him.

"Drop it."

Butler fought, but he couldn't win. He dropped his arms to himself. "Good Mud Man."

The game was over. The Fairies were once again safe.

I'm not sure if having Mulch as a secret miller sort of thing made the game bastard - luckily it never made a difference. Overall I was disappointed in the amount of replacements we had, but it was a good game regardless. Well played Town.
