It's the first day of October, which means it's time for the announcement of:

PUMPKIN PALOOZA FESTIVAL AND CONTEST

The task is simple. Build a super-cool Halloween/autumn display! Whether you want to present a happy harvest hoohah, or a horrific haunted house, the choice is yours! Be festive! Be creative! Have fun!
Rules:
- You have almost all of October to build your display. You may place it wherever you wish, as long as it is fairly easy to access and doesn't encroach on someone else's space.
- When finished, PM me the coordinates and I will write them down for when I judge. Like I said above, the easier it is to get to, the easier it will be for me to judge. If you know my Minecraft play, I'm not very good at getting around.
- Starting on Monday the 29th, I will begin judging. I will judge on adherence to the theme of Halloween and fall and how you mix it with MafiaScum/Minecraft, creative use of supplies, and general aesthetic beauty. The three best displays will get prizes, as listed below:
-First Place:a Super Pumpkin Palooza Pack, filled with jack-o-lanterns, pumpkins, wheat, cookies, and (if released in time) pumpkin pie! Oh, and maybe a few diamondsPlus, a celebratory plaque to be placed in front of your abode.
-Second Place:a Pumpkin Palooza Pack, with some jack-o-lanterns, pumpkins, wheat, and maybe a pumpkin pie or two. Plus, a sign that says you got second place.
-Third Place:a few pumpkins and a jack-o-lantern, plus a sign that says you got third place.
A few tips and guidelines:
- Don't make it huge. from my really basic testing I did yesterday, you can only see about fifteen blocks wide, so I'm suggesting a 15x15x15 limit. Of course, you can build bigger, but I'd much prefer a display which I can get a view at least most of it without moving around too much.
- Design from all sides! In Minecraft, you have stuff approaching from you left and right, behind you and in front of you. Take into account all views. Of course, one side will probably be the prettiest, but that doesn't mean all the other sides have to be the ugliest.
