But didn't you earlier say that you had no idea of his alignment?

Let me check..

They have the same chance as everyone else, the only alignment I am capable of truly knowing at this stage is my own.

I don't believe so, I just stated theory facts.
I have no idea if I am identifing his alignment correctly, however his posts are pointing towards town.

But you agree that he could be scum?

anybody in this case could be scum; if I go on that fact alone then we will never get anywhere.
He is not confirmed town, or even obvtown yet, however he is currently my biggest town lean.

Here's my point.

A) You admitted that you don't know if TUG is scum or town with 100% certainty.
B) You admitted that if TUG is scum, it is unlikely that I am also scum.
C) You admitted that your vote on me is based wholly on following TUG.

Therefore, you must either be 100% certain of TUG's being town, or you must be scum yourself trying to avoid responsibility for a mislynch.

so you're asking questions and then using synonyms which have slightly different meanings than the original word to misrep.

I see your gameplan.

What word do you see that I changed? (I'm a lawyer, and this "gameplan" is basically standard cross-examination technique. :P )

I also have a secondary reason of that you drifted into gut territory with some of the response you gave to the case against you, when he linked that game I connected some dots as per Thor's meta that I've seen him play.

No. By gut territory, I was referring to scumreads from my gut.

Sheeping aside, do you or do you not find TUG's case to be compelling?

Until he brought up that link, actually no, but reactions can still come from bad cases.

So the fact that it happened in one game makes you more confident? Why do you think that there is a causal relation rather than simple correlation?

Yes, the fact I also discarded it in that game as I was doing here means that it's very relative.

That game how Thor caught the scum and his game how he appears to have caught you are pretty much the same. From my knowledge, that gives these two games a relation in which they are similar.

Fine. If you wish to view it like that, it's your prerogative. I still think that blindly following somebody is anti-town and highly scummy. It's clear, though, that this exchange is not going to get us anywhere further. My vote stays.

Hardly. If he is trusting you implicitly with no strong other reasons for believing that I am scum, he is therefore assuming that you have a pro-town motivation in trying to get him to vote for me.

I find cheery's comments to be scummy. Blindly sheeping a case where, you initially thought it was bad, and only going with it now because you remember an instance where it happened before is just bad logic. Combined with the fact that he initially came in thinking that he was going to hammer Kimor on it, puts him at near the top of my scumlist.

unvote, vote: ovyo

You got a lot of assignments and couldn't play because of it? I don't believe that fully. You have time to come on today and explain it and say you'll post more later, yet you had 0 time in the past 4 days to get on and tell us your swamped; which is after someone asked that you'd be replaced.

EBWOP: To add to the first part. I believe Cheery came in wanting to hammer someone and take little blame for it by sheeping the vote/hammer.

If you are following somebody with no reasoning beyond "sheeping" and you are not 100% certain of their alignment, you are an abject idiot and should be strangled with your own intestines.

And being an "abject idiot" does not necessitate scum.

Still stands that what you offered in way of argument was a false dichotomy.
