As far as I can tell there are 2 scum roles and 1 town role that would claim that, honestly I believe he is one of the scum ones.

It was essentially one of the other roles distinguished so we could tell the difference between the two scum groups.

There is a role which means what he says, there are also two scum roles that do that + scum. It seems more likely that scum would mess up the exact name, so vote stays.
