I have no idea what this is. What it looks like is somebody destroyed MME's wall and then fucked with water near it. Let me be crystal fucking clear: NOT ACCEPTABLE. If you're responsible, fess up. If you accidentally creeper a build/break something that's not yours,

report it and you won't be in trouble

so long as you help clean it up.

In addition, this?

I don't know or care what it is, it's literally the ugliest thing I think has ever been built on the server. It's also spawning monsters. Make it go away now please or I'll do it.

Server Video Project!

Hey guys, me again. Not like I don't post here...constantly. Anyway, my posting habits are not the point. What is the point is that both for fun and practice, I've decided to create a server promo video, sorta like this one, but obviously for our server. It'll basically highlight the awesome builds on the server, in addition to possibly some of the other cool things we do.

Anyway, the reason I'm telling you about it instead of just waiting until it's finished is because I wanna know what you guys want to see highlighted in the video. While I think I have a fairly good idea of some of the awesome builds on the server (Endstone Cathedral at Skytown, izak's base, Vanilla Town in general, Fishy's floating castle, etc), I know there are things on the server that are in the middle of bumfuck nowhere that I don't know about. If you have one of these builds or know of one and want to be sure it's in the video, PM me or post it in thread. Be sure to give me coordinates so I can find it, don't just say "oh it's out in the jungle somewhere" because that is not helpful.

(I also may want a couple of stand-in actors if I wanna shoot a spleef match or something; let me know if you're able to do that sometime)

Depends. If you're fucking around under someone's build, or in some cases under a town or whatever, then they might be peeved, but otherwise if you're off in bumfuck nowhere the odds of them finding it are low anyway.

Well, usually people get skins by either making one or finding one. For finding one, I use MinerShoes, which allows you to either find a pre-created skin or make one of bits of other skins in the Armory. If you don't like those options, Google only turns up 12 million results for Minecraft skins. If you want to make one all on your own, go to your Minecraft profile, download the reference skin and muck with it in your favorite image editing program.

If you find a skin that you like but want minor alterations to, PM me. I can do simple things like change colors or whatever.

First, you're going to need to download or save the image as a .png on your computer. Put it somewhere you'll remember! Next, go back to your Minecraft profile. At the bottom you'll see an option to upload your skin. Do that, hit submit and you're looking snazzy in your new threads!

What if I like the skin of a Minecraft YouTuber/friend of mine/yours?

MinerShoes has a function where you can type in a Minecraft username and it'll show their skin for download. Just be sure that you're getting the caps right, it's case sensitive.

But the point of SPAWNTOWN is to have a place close to SPAWN for people to build in and start in. There's shit all around the town. Why move to another town that newbies will have to get to by figuring out how warps work? Easier to just expand the walls like I suggested.

I feel like I should let you all know that work on the server video has been delayed. My client is being very derpy and lag-spikey lately, so I haven't been able to really get much shot. Hopefully I'll fix this soon (maybe a clean reinstall will do it) and then I'll get back on this. But look for this and other fun Xalxe events in the future!

Reck: an idea for KOTH would be a command block on a time delay, set up so that you have to stand on a pressure plate for X time. Once you do so, it broadcasts a winner message.
