Why would I say anything incriminating? I don't even know why you guys voted me to begin with. Seriously, all I did was make a hunch vote. It's day one, my second post, who wouldn't I make a hunch vote?

Are you the cadre from misetings?

Anyway, I think the main reason that people are voting for you is you said you'd lurk. I know lurking is highly encouraged for newbies over on misetings, but on mafiascum many people (myself included) have a standard policy of "lynch all lurkers", we normally run up anyone who lurks (IE: reads the game thread, but does not post/posts very rarely in order to try and "stay under the radar").

No, I've never heard of Misetings.

I'm sorry, I didn't know lurking was such a horrible tactic here. But I don't lurk to stay under the radar, I lurk because I try to moderate how much I post. I tend to talk to much, so lurking is the only way to prevent myself from doing such.

I guess I'll now have to moderate how much I lurk as well...

Don't like his vote. I don't really think that kind of over-the-top "lynch him now" stuff timmy was doing is really a scumtell, especally as he was only the, what, third vote on the silly MMOD wagon, but if Timmy is town, it certanly would make him a tempting target for scum looking for an easy lynhc. So (using weak day-ish quasi-logic-ish stuff), I figured the second vote for timmy was a good place to start looking for scum.
Emphasis on "weak", right?

Based on the large games I've read (or played in) that he participated in, I'd say Timmy is everything but an easy lynch. He usually lurks and bandwagons until at least midgame no matter what his alignment.

(shrug) Well, you have not actually been lurking this game as of yet. Usually, though, the more you post, and especally the more real game-related and scum-finding-related content you post, the more pro-town people tend to think you are. Until you make a mistake, anyway. ;)

Heh...yeah, it was a fairly weak vote (a few pages into day 1, whatdaya expect?), but I hate it when I vote to get a response from someone and then I don't get a response. Makes me feel like I can't really move my vote anywhere else until I do.

Anyway, I do think Timmy gets lynched kind of a lot. Lurking and bandwagoning tend to make you more likely to get lynched, not less.

Anyway, if he always bandwagons, then why did you vote for him just because he was bandwagoning?

But not on day 1, based on my experience.
Anyway, if he always bandwagons, then why did you vote for him just because he was bandwagoning?
Because I decided to throw my first vote right into the middle of all the action instead of on a "virgin" like I usually do for a change, and that's where Timmy was.

I never said that, I just said it hadn't come up. I've only played three games here on MS, one of them was a full theme hence the vast amount of posts. The other two I didn't make it passed day one, so as you can see there wasn't much time for this lurking law to come to my attention.

You think I'd state that I'd go lurking if I knew that it wasn't an acceptable play style? You think I would purposely buy myself a one way ticket to the noose? There is no valid reason for me to have done what I did had I known what I know now...

Just finished reading the last 5 pages. Last five pages was a bunch of BS and was pretty much a waste of 15 minutes of my time. Another 15 minutes was spent on translating the BS into something I could understand. Refer to post 49.

Cadre bandwagon, funny how lying about lurking is far more suspicious than actually lurking. Logic here is screw up.

Post 69, minor support of Yosarian from Hezlucky in the form of a joke. Either he's trying to make a friend through flattery or wants to dissuade a possible bandwagon on a scumpartner.

I think it's a little early to lynch lurkers. For example, not much has happened for me to comment on so far.

Not sure why Coron is taking a stand on the "Cadre bandwagon" since he had what, 3 votes? And two other players have 3 votes, too. Hardly bandwagons, but we do have so put pressure on players if we want anything to happen.

unvote, vote: Cadre

Cadre, MY reason for voting you has nothing to do with your 'time to lurk' post, because if you'd read the thread, you'd see I voted for you far before it happened, but instead has to do with your first two posts, which were FAR too over defensive and wrong. My vote stays for now, because your 'woah is me people are voting for me for no reason shtick.' makes you look even scummier in my eyes, especially since there have been two legitimate points raised against you:

1) the overdefensiveness in post 1-2

2) the 'time to lurk' comment when you had recieved attention.

And now you've added

3) Refusing to respond with logic, and instead making random emotional 'woah is me' type posts.

I suggest you shape up your act, or you'll just continue to look scummier and scummier in my mind. kthxbi
