From Rages to Riches!

Given the responses from the players, and the fact that the server is currently down, I've selected timeslot "C":

GMT (Sunday 2) 0:00-9:00, EST (Saturday 1) 19:00-3:00 -- It should be time enough for the server to be up

The selected location are the cliffs in the large island to the southwest of the vineland train station. I will try to build a small shack there with an Enderchest by Saturday.

The time window is pretty large so that everyone can try to be on a little at least part of the time Let's see what we can build together! Will it be a glorious monument, or a chaotic patchwork?

If anyone could set up some sort of voice chat server for the event, it would be awesome.

So I got a new skin and texture pack . Everything looks adorable now :3

The texture pack is Loafcraft. But I also have Coterie Craft, the best one from the suggested texture packs a few pages back.

What do enderchests do anyway?

Enderchests work like a portable extra inventory. The contents of all enderchests is the same, for each player, across the server.

So, you can fill your enderchest with cobblestone in spawntown, and take out that cobblestone from another enderchest in vineland.

Very handy for connecting storage of construction materials with construction places. Just keep in mind that you need a silk touch pick to pick up an enderchest.

Okay, so, this is probably going to sound like a stupid question, but, when is the server expected to be back up? I think I read something about Saturday at 7 PM EST, not really sure if that's correct or not.

No Saturday 7PM EST is the time for the RtR (Rag to Riches) event.

no idea, the most they've put out is the entire EU node is down for maintenance and the rest of the services are unaffected, and they are working their hardest to fix it.

Heads up guys, we'll likely be switching over to a Dedi Server soon, for roughly the same price i can get shittons more and not rely on third-party hosts liek BoN/DaddyCheese/etc

Plus Corin volunteered to still help me with tech support like as if i was still paying him

and set it all up for us

LONG STORY SHORT: the hosts got hacked and their servers are being held hostage as blackmail for them to hand over the ownership of a domain called bluehell that one of the host admins own's, because bluehell is a hacker paradice of IRCness and whatnot

Worst Case Scenario, Corin takes of BoN and service returns to normal, best case scenario the hackers realize they are fighting a loosing battle.
