I had never used the named IP for personal preference reasons, and I didn't know it was set up to redirect already.
I also didn't know it was updated to 1.4.5 - when did that happen? Permanent thing? Because Klaz...it's time to "wait".

A map reset?! But we have lots of shiny things! If we want new chunks for biomes/new blocks/whatever, shouldn't we just delete anything nobody wants to keep?

I am totally opposed to a world reset. I've put so much work into it, a world reset will probably stop me from playing altogether. I can't believe you guys are suggesting it. We were absolutely crushed the last time we had to reset and only a couple of people made the jump to the new map to begin with.

As I have been pretty inactive on it recently, I'd be for a world reset. It'd give me a chance to build a house that can actually exist in the real world.

Obviously I don't have many possessions, so a world reset wouldn't bother me much. But I can see where more advanced players would be very upset.

The single-chunk regeneration plan seems like a good one, if everybody agrees on whatever chunk we choose.

This actually sounds like a really cool idea - we could then have mini-explored areas around the player-built structures with the rest being ungenerated wilderness. And as we explore we could as Rhinox suggests and transportation the shit out of the brand new map. I am so for this idea it's not even funny.

@Claus: you've found the temporary server map that Maru has up.
The spawnpoint structure and the voidhole were mine. :lol: The signs warned you!
