*sigh* Yes, this is all I wanted it for. I had no plan to ever share the map files except after extensive editing (removing all playability except for whatever I plan on doing with them) and it would not have ever resulted in another place for people to play using our server. Definitely, please, take this to PM's first in the future, Maru.

On that note, however, neither Corin nor I have been able to actually get the friggin' FTP Access to work in practice.
I haven't been able to download anything more than the individual level.dat files...and I'm pretty sure I need those 50,000,000 region files too so that'll be a problem.

If you feel it's necessary, go ahead and remove access, but I haven't done a thing that would be considered dishonorable besides checking up on the FTP Access now and again, using FileZilla and the built-in Multicraft FTP. I only even look at the console to see all the cool stuff that's going on behind-the-scenes.

ALSO RELATED: if a certain map that was going to be a CTF-Style version of our Server's map was put up on Klazam's Server for an event, would people like to play?

IRC chat is so much better than the Dynmap one, it's not even funny

(Android has Andchat and androIRC as the biggest players)

He could before, and still can, but with the advent of server-connected IRC it was either deemed incompatible or impossible or just inconvenient to maintain the dynmap chat. I agree IRC is better but people's needs, etc.

Also, piracy is such an overused term, every time someone is inventing a new act to be considered "piracy". Beware of using it. For example, you bought a music CD, you want to copy one of the songs to your phone for listening. Is it piracy? Some people want you to believe it is. Anyway off-topic.

Any web based irc clients? I can't DL any irc clients to my work PC, but I could use the dynmap from my work PC. And there is not enough cell phone reception in my building for any of the mobile/tablet clients.
