It was more that your response to Slandaar's vote was not what I would have expected to see, and I was wondering why? You've addressed his vote now but that was a rather delayed reaction so still doesn't make me feel good about you.

If this was your reason, why didn't you mention it post #52?

Not for looking townish, but for being dead wrong about what the rules are and talking out of my a**. I don't like being wrong or looking foolish as I am a bit of a perfectionist, especially when it comes to matters of intellect.

Wait what? The only scenario for voting out conman now would be me being town and believing him scum. As scum I wouldn't want conman gone. No matter what his role was. Which is inconsistent with my vote because I do want conman gone. Next suspect for me is kthx. But I don't see him getting lynched today. So I don't want to waste my vote.

Something about this reaction and the overall stubbornness of it all reads a little townish to me, but looking back at ace's posting history I'm having a hard time reading him.

SiN has established himself in my eyes as a classical variation of a townish playing style that I feel is hard for scum to fake, although certainly not impossible. It's characterized by a gung ho yet slighty quirky attitude, a lack of verbosity and plenty of incisiveness.

As I pointed out in #130 and havingfitz pointed out in #166, qwints was pretty quick to go from "Conman is scum" to "Conman is town VI". This is potentially somewhat dubious, but the main redeeming factor here is that qwints completely ignored me when I raised this point (seeming concerned only with rectifying his vote) and gave a very brief (yet somewhat logical) answer to havingfitz, indicating that qwints is either completely relaxed about this or is faking it pretty well. I think scum would be likely to get more defensive here.

@StKerrigan. What did I mean by "failing scum?" Well...first off, I meant to say "flailing scum"...not "failing scum"...but they are basically the same. I meant the same thing I assume qwint and aceofspades meant when they refererred to Conman as "flailing scum." What do I mean by it? I think he's flailing scum. Look at his ISO. Are you interested in why qwint and aceofspades used that description or just me? If not...why? If yes...why haven't you queried them on it?

At the time I was making that post I was racing to get something done before my source of internet closed for the day. Thus, I didn't really have much of a chance to dig into anything, and thus I hadn't noticed qwint's and aceofspades' descriptions.

I have to disagree with you about your self-vote stance. The one time I self-voted (other than for joking purposes), I was town frustrated as hell because I felt that the majority of the town was on my back for something I didn't think was scummy. There are both scum and town reasons to self-vote (not that any of the reasons are actually good ones), so I would classify it as a null-tell.

There was no stated reason. The real reason was because I felt that fitz didn't seem to have a lot posted at the time, so I wanted to poke him a bit and see what happened. He responded with a good post.

After taking the recent posts from everyone into unbias consideration, I still say Conman is the best lynch for Day 1. Some of you make good points, and they are worth looking into imo....Day 2, after scum-Conman is dead and buried and being eaten by worms.
