The ID conflicts seem to happen pretty randomly with forge, I think whatever it does to detect them is bugged. I was getting ID conflicts yesterday running Buildcraft. That's it. No other mods.

Lol yeah, nope, I got my actual game working again, no thanks to MultiMC, which sucks balls. I'm trying to figure out what's wrong and it looks like "absolutely nothing" is the answer, since all the Mods run fine in SSP while I continue getting an endofstream error when trying to connect to the server.

Remember when they made ME and it sucked? And then they made XP which was kinda like ME except it didn't suck?

From what I heard about ME/2000 they must have spent more time on the startup sound than making the actual OS itself because holy fuck that startup sound is amazing.

8 doesn't just suck, it's a complete disaster.

And ftr 7 sucks too just not quite as badly as Vista.

My one regret in life is that I wasn't born early enough to experience Windows 95>2000/ME as they came out.

The only OS that I've used out of those was 98 on VirtualPC to play some games.

Mods installed through MagicLauncher kept crashing - you can't do it that way for some reason.

coremods and magiclauncher don't play nicely.
get MultiMC.

and i'll come up with a few better/clearer ways to do it all tonight.

I fixed the Block ID conflict, even changed my Forge config to global and changed both Block ID's in the same file so that neither was using the previously used Block ID, and it still crashes - now seemingly without a reason.

don't change configs, then yours won't match the servers. None of it should have conflicts? it didn't for me.

MultiMC didn't work. A manual install from a clean 1.4.5 .jar works better for me than did MultiMC.

It's a problem with the server - I was telling izak (over the Normal Server) that I can even play Modded SSP with the new configuration without problems.
BUT I still consistently receive an endofstream error when attempting to connect to the Modded Server. (The Normal Server works fine for me.)

P-Edit: As I said later, it works now with no changes to the configs. Which is stupid because they were both clean installs...

Sending out the players now. Leave the present under or in the tree by the Distantlands warp. You can find it by following the Spruce wood path from the portal/warp. Make sure to remember where your chest was placed, so that you can notify your person that this is the right present to open.

However, the tree is looking rather bare, so to further strengthen this community (and also because I'm too lazy to get the materials to do it myself) I've decided that we can all pitch in to make the tree into a Christmas tree. Decorate it where ever you want, whether it's the leaves, the trunk, or even inside the tree (yes, it's hollow). You can use anything you want too. Come Christmas day we can put a glowstone star on the top of the tree, and maybe a beacon block for an extra effect.
