I don't see how it's two different things. A Policy Lynch pretty much covers all Lynches that are not for the expressed purpose of Lynching Scum. A VI is, by definition, not Scum. It's an AntiTown player, but if you don't feel the VI is scummy, you're not Lynching for Scum, you're Lynching to make the game easier or more palatable. Either way, this is a debate more suited for MD if you wish to continue it.

I wasn't asking you to conjecture on anything, I just wanted you to define "they". Saying 'Conman's partners on the Slandaar Wagon' is fine. I wasn't sure if you were refering to specific player slots or not, the comment was a bit vague to me.
I'm of the opinion at least one of gorgon, d3x, or SiN is scum. Which one we gonna lynch guys/girls? I'm sold for now that d3x is town. Don't like either of gorgon or SiN.

@Kthx - I think the problem SiN is pointing out, is that you're suggesting it's probable that there's Scum amongt us 3, but you're the only one who knows your alignment. If SiN is Lynched and flips Town, he's instaConfirmed and we know his motivations are nothing less than proTown. The same cannot be said about you. Thoughts?

the one scum on slandaar's wagon was conman. saying that it's probable that 2 people out of a 5 man wagon is scum doesn't really have a basis in any sort of fact, sorry. this game is not as easy as lynch a scum and lynch everyone else who was defending him.
I hate players calling themselves obvTown. I personally think you're Town, but not obviously so. I also think that regardless of whether a player is obvTown, that doesn't trump Confirmed Town. It's ridiculous to think otherwise. absta had given a ton of lip service to the conman wagon at this point, with a bunch of "yeah, that's what I sometimes do as scum", but never actually voted for him. Then, when he finally does, it's in a "fuck it, just kill him now and end my misery" type of way, and then unvotes after he replaces out. This is despite the fact that it was 4 days before deadline. Done a little bit of research and it's not a replacing out habit that he has, so why else would he unvote as he leaves except to give is buddy just a little bit better chance of survival?

Yes. When the alternative is having to justify hammering a townie without a reread, yes. ScumDun sees how his partner is behaving, sees a partner already bussing, and decides that letting conman live one more day and dealing with the shitty interactions isn't worth it.
