This argument feels a lot like orcinus is unnecessarily making a mountain out of a molehill. Was Majiffy's response to the original question annoying? Yes. Should he actually try to come up with a well-thought-out response outlining why he wants to just hang Siv anyways (even if it's already been stated)? Probably. Is the ruckus orcinus causing because of this really worth it? IMO not really.

If you're scum with Majiffy, this is a good way to deflect attention off both of you via bussing and by being generally loud and annoying so that other players want to tone you out. Of course, the scumminess of one of you depends on the other flipping scum, but still.

Even if one of you is scum and the other is town, it still works toward potentially turning eyes away.

Or, thirdly, you're trying to push a mislynch on flimsy reasoning and it's currently failing hard.

Melmond is totally taking the talk of bussing out of context. Honestly, I don't even understand why he thinks talk of bussing is scummy in the first place. Or why he finds my first posts contrived? Or where I have ever beat around the bush? (If anything, Majiffy is the one who has made it extremely difficult to get straight answers from).

Talk of bussing is bad because there are no flips yet. Building a case on majiffy because you think he might be bussing siv is terrible. Majiffy said he busses as scum, that's meta. If you would bother to actually research meta of Majiffy, you might see why, at least I, have a townread on him. He's not doing anything I wouldn't expect him to do as town.

The whole beat around the bush thing wasn't against you, I was just saying that majiffy will be irritating if you don't state exactly what you want to know. Such as, instead of "do you have any reads" I'd recommend saying "what are your reads".
