This is another reason why I think you are scum. You try to dismiss the case against you as splitting hairs without actually responding to it.

the town motivation in a case like this would be firstly, to question everything and NOT push for an instalynch; and secondly, NOT trying to get a claim out, and instead, trying to get more information subtly that will help you decide. a claim is not retrievable - it should be the last option for you after you've examined everything - there's plenty of time to end the day. lots of scum motivation, no town motivation at all in his entire game.

I completely agree with you about him pushing for a Reck lynch with so little information. However, I still disagree with you over the rolefishing. Any subtle information that town could get, scum would also get and it would do just as much bad as a claim. Also, in this case, I think that it was important for town to know as much about the situation as possible before deciding whether or not to lynch him.

I really don't. seems like Obv is sticking to his place of admitting mistake and continuing. this is something that happens, you know - a townie almost never goes through his own ISO to check stuff, so if he remembers it wrong, shit happens - happened to me more than once. but..well voided and Zang have good points. that flip flopping on the reasoning is shit.

I'm not sure about him but I know that I have gone through my ISO at least twice in this game. The case against him is also more than just him not remembering something once.

Bastard means anything goes. Agreed that with so many roles available, fake claims can be expected, but strange roles can be expected too. Reck's claim fits the bastard bill in my opinion. Still, he may be lying and he may be scum, but I don't think he is the proper lynch for this moment.
