I don't know, but kind of, yes.

Day1 it's great because it's generates discussion, and good discussion devastates scum (see MEta Mafia in Large theme).

But this is day3 with 3 or 4 town flips and a scum flip. Now is the time to claim real results, or scumhunt off the info you have. If you want to try to create new info, that's all good and well but the old info hasn't been mined yet.

I investigated Dreams last night

Between 1) the certainty that Nacho had that AA9 was scum which felt like inside information, 2) their suspicion of me and not matt after my claim, and 3) the force replace which felt like they got misinformation about another slot (rolecop), I felt Dreams was the best person to investigate. I was shocked that he was picked for the NK over one confirmed town slot and another nearly confirmed slot. I can only assume mafia had inside information or guessed something was up tied to #3 above. Not exactly sure based on the vig flip that would force replace Hero, unless the mod sent the results of an action (my Mollie investigation?) to him by mistake?

What we (okay I) know is that scum 1) did not interfere with my investigating, and 2) they must fear a doctor or watcher in the game because they didn't target me.

Saw the mason comment by Mollie. She ought to be the 2nd confirmed town in everyone's eyes. Since she also knows who the last Mason is, what are everyone's thoughts on if she should make the final call after a lynch is decided on each day, in who I investigate each night, to avoid me wasting an investigation on the last mason? Hard to say so early. The 3 man mason team/vig/IC is such a weird combo for town power. Especially with the Maf JK flip.

I would imagine a rolecop would be a more relevant PR for scum to have at this point.

lol I didn't think about it to that depth either. I just saw IAI surviving night after night with the lame "I investigated x", where x = NK.

So it's pretty easy to determine my alignment, no? Mollie can suggest IAI "investigates" me, and scum NK me. I'm down with that.

@Rev - I prefer to give claimed cops the benefit of the doubt for as long as there's a possibility they're town. Not a bad plan though if you might come up as a lynch target later. I'm down for whatever catches us scum most efficiently.

But it felt a little scummy of you to be tunnel-visioning on any and all possible BLATANT scum motivation that IaI was posting with instead of also wondering if IaI could be town and could be suggesting a reasonable plan. Because...I mean I felt it was pretty reasonable. he is offering to target who our best town figurehead (Mollie) wants him to. If he is town, he is playing as pro-town as possible by not potentially investigating the last Mason.

And your post really looked like you were trying to fling mud at IaI without really thinking about whether it was true.
