Do scum "likely have day talk" or is it "fairly obvious that they should"?
I asked about it because on reread,
^ that sounded like Kublai telling buddyPanzer to step up his game.In post 46, Kublai Khan wrote:I'm willing to hammer yet (page 2 and all). But panzerjager needs to explain himself.-

Both of these can be true (and are). Your assertion about panzer and KK requiring proof of the negative doesn't justify your question being public.Taking a break from the site.-

I'm usually (or used to be) slightly below mastin posting. Its always been a goal of mine to be more concise once I realized people stopped reading my posts.

As for "asking others to provide an opinion", I was asking Kitty Mo for her opinion because she was the subject of the original DRK vote, and I was surprised that she didn't post more on the subject than "You jerk. <3".
I was satisfied with the responses DRK gave page 2, and chamber's lack of actual response to my earlier question has been eating at me.

Yes.
So where you going with this chamber? is DRK scummy for asking about daytalk or were you just spending half a page instructing DRK on how to properly scumhunt?-

Perhaps unfamiliar with fighting in tight formations, the muslims believed parts of the enemy force were chained together as a sign of unshakeable courage, as well as protecting them from breaking through under a cavalry charge.

I made this post while my brain was not in it's default state. I basically agree with the premise, but probably wouldn't have worded it quite so strongly myself.
@Rhinox: huh. As scum, I'm always terrified my extra information is shining through, so when I speculate about something the scum know and I don't have to it's a pretty massive towntell. Do you not find the same thing?-

In post 80, mith wrote:KK: I am starting to feel like you aren't actually reading what I'm saying. My scum-read on DRK was initially based on the same "minutia" Fishy pointed out (thus "awesome case" in that post). There was other stuff later (post 34).
Rereading your previous post in the context of this latest question, you seem to be implying that I followed Fishy's scum-read but not his town-read, or at least not the strength of his town read, and therefore [???], which makes no sense.
Well, here's the breakdown.
Fishythefish gets a scumread and votes DeathRowKitty. You agree and jump on the bandwagon.
Fishythefish lists his reasons, you're stating that you saw the exact same minutia.
Fishythefish gets a strong townread on me but doesn't list the reason. You undersell the entire idea.
There's two reasons I'm pursuing this thread of ideas. First, it's possible that Fishythefish is mole-hilling a case against town and appeasing dissenters (me) with flattery. I'm not really getting a vibe that it's likely, but I'm always paranoid. You're following the same pattern.
Second, scum tend to like to encourage scum reads and discourage/smear town reads. This helps discourage the possibility of town cohesion which helps out scum because if town has a network of strong town-reads, it increases the chance that scum get lynched if they aren't in that town-read pool.
The combination of these reasons is why you're at the top of my scum-reads.
In post 81, KittyMo wrote:Kublai Khan: Why aren't you voting anyone?
There are 3 scum and it's 5 to lynch. Plus the people I've wanted to vote for have already been under pressure.
In post 82, Fishythefish wrote:@KK: wait, so in post 46 you were saying you were ready to hammer despite it being page 2? I'm confused - I don't see how that fits with your next sentence. "But panzerjager needs to explain himself." sounds very much like you aren't going to hammer him.
It's a threat of a hammer. It's meant to encourage him to stop playing dumb and to treat the situation as serious. I admit I was undercutting my threat by acknowledging it was a silly move to hammer on Page 2. If I was actually ready to hammer, then I would have hammered.
In post 85, chamber wrote:In post 46, Kublai Khan wrote:So you'll follow a gut scum read on minutia but not a gut town read on minutia?
This is a weird question, can you explain your reasoning behind asking it?
Does the above response to mith answer this?

@DeathRowKitty - Here you quote the fact that this is a nightless game when asking about deadline lynch rules:
In post 2, DeathRowKitty wrote:Rules wrote:5) If you don't lynch before the deadline, that's a shame.
7) this is a nightless game. It has 6 town and 3 scum.
What happens if we don't lynch by deadline?
Did/do you actually think that scum don't have daytalk during a nightless game?
(P.S. - I think your scumread on me is heavily trumped up)Occasionally intellectually honest

KK, I was not discouraging or smearing Fishy's read. You asked ifIhad a strong town read, and I didn't; it didn't even occur to me that this had anything to do with Fishy's answer until later in the conversation. The implication that I should have a strong town read on you because I agreed with another of Fishy's reads is silly.
(If had wanted want to "undersell" his town read, I could have pointed out that you asked him for his "towniest" read when only three other players had posted to that point, one of whom he was voting for. The case could be made that you are overselling his read. Also, how could I be underselling the idea of KK-town while also following the same pattern of trying to appease dissenters? That doesn't make sense, and looks like you were prepared to view my response negatively whatever it had been.)
I wouldloveif chamber and Panzer would actually respond to my questions rather than ignoring them.-

I don't know, why do you call it "excuses"...? When the wagon reached L-1, I gave my opinion of the case on mith.In post 116, Kublai Khan wrote:In post 91, DeathRowKitty wrote:I'm not a fan of the mith wagon. I don't know. I don't think I've ever even read a nightless game that wasn't a marathon game. From what chamber said, I guess they do.@DeathRowKitty - Here you quote the fact that this is a nightless game when asking about deadline lynch rules:
