I've seen scum do this precisely for the purpose of being townread.

I think it's actually a fairly up-and-coming thing in a lot of scum WIFOM meta.

I've used that tell before where "only scum ask why others think they're town", but in recent games the tell just hasn't been accurate so i'm treating it as null for the time being.
