I was really counting on Cybertronix to be able to defuse the wagon on him so I could be the last one off. My scum-in-trouble endorphin rush started when he replaced out.
Not when you factor in Shaheed's Law; confTown has to be eliminated before lylo, but up until then it's not critical. Any JK was likely to be protecting frog, and frog protecting either Who or Majiffy. By killing outside of {frog, Who, Majiffy} I had the best chances of icing the other PR (if one existed) and generate a pile of WIFOM in the process.
I would have killed frog the day before lylo or if I got a PR kill.
Good job on the successful scumfinding Majiffy. Sorry for doubting you.
@Belisarius
Why me? You were really the only one to see me as conftown, most of the town found me null/nulltown.

Only frog was conftown, but you were townie as fuck all game long. I couldn't see any way I could convince anyone you were scum, and I know townBel would never doubt you.
This may sound strange, but thank you for killing me, Belisarius. You saved me the trouble of trying to fight a losing battle on day two.
But those are the best kind! I always find it disappointing when a fight is too easy -- I really wish I could have given you all a better fight D2, but I kept coming up blank -- but when you go into the day thinking that you're doomed, it's a real rush when you make it to the following night. That's why Open 480 was my favourite game on this site. I thought I was dogmeat every day from the moment I copclaimed, but the town tore itself apart quite nicely.

Nah I would have pushed the Beli lynch through.

I actually had you as leaning scum. I was going to go after you if Beli flipped town.

And I was going to ramp up my campaign against you if Beli flipped town. I would probably have sided against Beli today had Frog not finished it first though.

orozorro's claim seemed fake to me and I didn't feel like unvoting him even before I saw your counterclaim.
But that was not the case for everyone else, so I guess it was good you counterclaimed.
Nice crumbing too.

Typically - and take this lightly, as I don't necessarily follow this advice often - yes. Always counterclaim.
However, if you have a role that can't be protected (doc in most normal setups, investigative role with no protective roles, etc) it may be a smarter move to hint at or subtly soft-claim the role and keep pushing for the fake-claimer's lynch. Experienced players will often pick up on this and do some of their own research into both slots; they may end up helping you without outting you to the scum team.
