still rattled by the sudden dispersal of two of their fellows, the other acolytes quickly push forward Bulbazak, to the high priests' slight bemusement.

"I see you have found expediency in your deliberations," the priest on the right comments. "Very well, come forward."

Slightly nervous and not at all eager, Bulbazak inches forward until he finally stands on the circle and the Void begins to wrap around him. LIke the others before him, he begins twitching and jerking as the power of the Void begins to consume him. The others peer closer in, hoping to see the same familiar flares of light signify a traitor of the Sun.

Seconds pass as Bulbazak begins to dissipate due to the void, patches of his body completely missing and such. More time passes as nearly 3/4ths of his body is gone, but still no flares. Finally, as his essence is completely consumed, the acolytes search vainly for any flash of light, but none comes, prompting a sagging of shoulders and an air of dissapointment from the acolytes.

"It seems, at last," one priest intones. "You have not made the best choice. But that is no matter, as there are still others to find.

Shoulders slumped, they obediently return to their tasks.
