My Notes

First off, let me apologize to leviathan, SafetyDance and Yates. It was my screw up of levi's PM that caused Day 2's chaos. He was supposed to have the mafia's win con, but as I was copy and pasting I gave him the town win con, and I didn't realize my mistake until Day 2's commotion started and I was ABOUT to mod kill him, when I realized he was actually still playing to his win con :/ So I am terribly sorry for that.

I was trying. As soon as she accepts it, I get to deliver her to the Slender Man and I will be free, turning into a miller treestump with a lyncher win condition on Leviathan.

This post made my game <3 I will make this a legit role one day, I promise.

Theory 3:
Levy is the Slender Man. This is a setup with 1 SK, 2 Mafia, and 8 Town. Slender Man knows a mafia, but the incentive is not to out them 'cause then he'll get shot and killed. It's for endgame shenanigans.

This also means awesome flavour where Slendy isn't the baddie, but rather two of our own group who wants us dead. That would be an awesome flavour.

This was actually my original set up idea... but when I went to add in PRs things just got unbalanced, so I scrapped the SK and Slendy was just part of the flavour and not actually in the game.


Mr_Ree's gambit day 1 was honestly the best one I have ever seen... I actually had to go and check his role PM just to make sure I hadn't made a mistake or something... And then I wanted to actually kill levi JUST to make everyone do a complete WTF. I really do want to have a bastard game one day... Perhaps my next one?

Nothing to apologize for. As it turns out, that mistake just made me try THAT MUCH harder to overcome all the ludicrous obstacles and enjoy the game even more as a result. I would literally wake up in the middle of the night with a BRILLIANT idea to get myself out of a sticky situation [then promptly fall back asleep thus forgetting my brilliant idea].

Awe, comeon Mhork. It wasn't that bad a game. We all had to fight to win, and we almost tagged scum. It was a good fight, and I think this is one of my best games on this site

I was quite impressed with your play too. You reacted well to pretty much every situation I threw your way. Because of your reactions, I had ZERO reason to doubt you. I still did at times, which is why I had you claim results before I roleclaimed. Ultimately, I made a conscious effort to keep that mistrust to myself. I even used you as bait at one point to try to out scum.

Hindsight is 20/20 though. It's easy to look back and say what I should have done.

I guess this evens us out. One win each. I look forward to a rematch. Perhaps we can even be on the same team.

This is my first game not using my usual tactics. I enjoyed playing like this even though it deprived me of one of the most useful scumhunting tools in my arsenal, self wagon analysis.

Good playing with all of you guys. I was really happy with my Marangal and Mhork reads D1/2, and really wanted Yates lynched before his claim, but unfortunately that wasn't enough. Yates played an excellent scum game, but it was really his fakeclaim that was the coup de grace for town.

Thanks for modding Piggy. I'll admit, I was really confused at times, but the setup and particularly the flavour were good fun.

When you came in to this game, I kept thinking to myself "He's just going to do the same damn thing he did last time". But nevertheless, I didn't do anything about it.

Again, I still think starting with 2 VIs and a very green player hurt us at the beginning.

Cry me a river. We started this game with two scum - one of them MOD CONFIRMED BY NAME by someone with a TOWN win condition.

It was essentially me vs. a BP, a hider, a "traitor" that could never become scum, and a bunch of VT's. Even Piggy admitted this game was likely unwinnable by scum.

Thanks Ms. M. I very much appreciate the compliment and ensuing ego boost. I've actually seriously been considering a career change to private investigator. The good news is that we'll be hunting hillbillies together real soon in PV's game.

Unfortunately my 'insane skills' only went so far this game. There was no way to know that there would be no investigative roles whatsoever, which was a HUGE selling point for Yates' claim. That and the no result. I like to trust my first instincts so once he was confirmed in my eyes, I would have fought tooth and nail to prevent his lynch unless someone presented some compelling evidence to the contrary.
