Why? I don't see them going down anytime soon, and it seems really really stupid to trade them for standard stuff even if you think they are.

If it actually hit 150 that seems like an obvious bubble to me, or star city artificially raising the price by limiting supply. It barely hit that price at its high point in standard, and I just don't believe that the standard demand then wasn't significantly bigger than the legacy demand is now. It was basically a 4 of in every good deck.

Demand isn't raising the price, it's supply.

It was just printed and readily available. Now, people have tended to hoard theirs and there aren't any more coming out, though I wager we might see it in FtV20.

the reason for it hitting 150 was that there were rampant speculation of it being unbanned in modern. which is impossible.

also, I don't really enjoy legacy control decks, and I don't think I'll ever get the goyfs to play any green based control deck, so I just got rid of the jaces for something I'd actually use.

You could have traded the jaces for goyfs.

not to mention i dont have tropicals, and dont plan to get them.

Uh, the most played goyf deck in the format does not play jace, and the second only runs 2, typically.

Off the top of my head I can think of like 3 tier one legacy decks that run goyf but not jace.

Also I want to pick up my goyfs just because of both modern and legacy playability. But I'mma wait for modern masters. I've cracked at least 4 of every mythic in RTR etc in drafts, so I figure I'll be able to do the same since my store says they'll be doing a lot of MM drafts.
