Mission 4Leader KingdomAces, you must choose five team members to send into Scolex's Sao Paulo base. Once inside, your agents will make their way to the main Armory to obtain vital weaponry for the final mission. Due to the difficulty of this mission, TWO failures must be played in order for the mission to fail.

You have 72 hours to make your assignments. As always, should you or any of your agents be caught or killed, the Secretary will disavow any knowledge of your actions.

My current scumreads are:

Deathnote
Diplomat
{Jal/JDGA}
{JDGA/Siv/Thurhame}

That leaves a team of myself, TS, Bowser, Jason, and one of {Jal/JDGA/Siv/Thurhame}

I don't include TS in the Jal/JDGA set because if one of the people on the first mission was scum, it seems more likely to me that it would be JDGA. I may reread these two before making a final submission though. Right now I'm leaning towards Siv as the fifth, since he still seems like the most town of the last group, but the problem is if JDGA is actually scum, then I would have no clue who the fourth member is. In that case it's probably either Bowser or TS, I may need to reread for connections between those three.

If the first three are DN/Diplomat/JDGA, the fourth is probably Bowser or Jason by PoE. Siv, as you said, looks very town; and Jal, on top of seeming town, is unlikely to be chosen as scum for the second mission by scumDiplomat when he already had JDGA.

Either JDGA is lone scum, picked lone scum (but is not scum), or picked two scum (and is still not scum). Scum have picked multiple scum to be on a mission in the past, but it's less likely to happen. KA is right about that.

I'm fascinated how this was outright rejected. Scum knew they had at least one person on the mission to fail it and just needed one more. Let's say both a town in Jason or TS accepted, it would be an automatic win if they had two scum aboard to just all accept. Hmm. Either they weren't sure, scum was saying they would accept, or that the mission could have passed. I wasn't seeing mostly everyone rejecting though.

I don't think it's that odd. Consider that (1) if they wanted it accepted, they need two townies (TS plus one other) to vote yes; (2) no one posted in support of the team; (3) Siv's 932 immediately after the nomination probably made them think we would all vote no.

In fact, it makes Jason who voted yes even more suspicious. As Siv pointed out, with Siv, myself, and Jal having already declared ourselves against the team, the only way it could pass would be if scum supported it, so it was in town's interest to vote no.
