Actually, that doesn't sound like a bad idea. Also, I will give the confirmation that no one has a card to counter it if no-one has the card to react to it (such as Cellar in Jeff's case).
Also, I will ask for you what action cards you want to use (especially if there is a card that has +Cards as an action) before your turn actually starts so that I can speed up the process a bit more if necessary.

Jeff draws 2 additional cards and everyone else gets 1 Curse, as no one has a Bane card.
