It kinda is fast. In some turns it's fast, and in others it's not.

This turn, for example, went by rather quickly. Then again, I think it's all in the timing of when the first person makes their post.

It is assumed that you were to play that card, but I felt it would be too game-breaking to reveal cards the other players have.

Unless the card text specifically says it goes into your hand, it goes into the discard.

This is correct. Remake specifically says "gain" not "add to hand".
