Everyone does not want to get lynched. That is why more than half of the posts of this game are people DEFENDING from accusations, because guess what, regardless of alignment, a) everyone wants to keep playing and b)everyone wants to be perceived as town (yes even town).

This wagon is SHIT.

Not really, i dont mind if I get lynched because I know town will use the info and continue scum hunting and find the scum until the end, In both of my completed games I was NK'd on N1 yet we still won.

Generally speaking (obviously it depends on circumstance) but getting NK'd is really a compliment as it shows that the scum team saw you as a threat, unless you dropped a really obvious PR crumb.
