UNVOTE: orcinus
bbcode sucks on phone.

I can't count this unvote. Please make it from the correct account. Sorry to be a stickler.

I have strong townreads, town leans, Jake, and mastin. I haven't stopped scumhunting at all; Jake is just a better lynch than Mastin at the moment.
semicolons are a scum tell.

goddamnit I agree with this, though.

buldermar will be happy, at least.

there is no fucking need to go tell a player to kill themselves, he absolutely meant that IRL because the post he responded to was me saying I would self vote.

If the mod wants to ignore it, I can't do shit about it.

Your histrionic interpretation of a nearly worn out internet meme would be funny in 2004. Today, it's horribly horribly trite.

not a single person has provided good reasons why he is town, nor have i seen anything productive from him. Even when Dr. claimed he made a good scum hunting post, I read it and strongly disagree that it was.

more votes on Syrana please
I disagree with your read of Syr. But more importantly, he's not half as dangerous as Nacho is if he's scum. Everything you have said about Syr (whether right or wrong) applies doubly to Nacho.

We need to sort Nacho today. I'm not saying lynch him...not yet, pending more input from him. But he's incredibly scummy looking based on what he has posted so far. buldermar and I both think so.

you say scumhunting. everything in that post was a town read or not about discerning aligment at all
you say working with town reads. he's answering a question. yes very helpful.
you say relaxed nature. he's relaxedly supporting a "utility lynch" of a player he said looked town
you say protown motivation. undermining the very bandwagon he was supporting with his vote
you say scumhunting. he's asking jake asking for more reads. maybe scumhunting, but he's held all along that jake's terrible town, not scum.
you say following up. link to game with 3 millers. Agree on this one too.
you say protown motivation. he says he won't remember lynching jake, and says he gives out town reads like candy. Can you explain what is protown about this?

I don't get it. He hasn't looked reluctant to engage you at all.

Scum-HD would know you are town (or would be bussing you), and the meta-based expectation if you are town would be that I'd recognize that and work with you today.

We viewed Nacho last night, so I was very happy to see the votes piling up today.

Nacho, meta says I die N1 when you are scum. This is exploitable. :/

AP, thanks for hosting the game and putting up with all the noise.

I don't know if the game was all that townsided. I think it came down to player list tbh. Several people who could read each other signed up. Getting a town read on the first miller made the 2nd one's reaction a gimmie. It was bad luck for town that squared was the cop, but in the overall scheme, that view didn't matter.

the scum qt is fucking scary btw. Now I really wonder what sort of town gestalt about Nacho that was today and why I couldn't get it to happen on day 1.

Also, damn relieved that we were killed for being us, and not because we were bleeding cop all over the thread.

there was the distinct possibility of idiotic town play. There was simply no way to get you lynched day 1. I was absolutely convinced that you were nailed with that convo about HD and Jake. And instead of anyone reading that, seeing it for what it was and voting you, jake voted me.

I gave up on your lynch. Mastin was doable. You weren't.

And in the larger scheme, that was good. Because if we had viewed him and survived n1, then we would have been looking at HD and Majiffy, and maybe even Jake.

But, I have no idea why you were impossible to lynch on day 1 and were basically the default on day 2.

A Mastin scumflip, perhaps?
I felt more sure about Nacho than Mastin at the point where I was pushing hard for his lynch. It was weird, settling for the less sure read at that point.

When I first started playing mafia, I had a really difficult time translating what I would see as scummy into a story that other players would get. This game kind of reminded me of those days. The way that convo evolved was just so obvious to me that there were no descriptive words I could add that would improve on the quote-blocks. And then the thread got crazy again and I never really had the chance to go back and try to build a narrative.
