It's irrelevant if scum know what to avoid. I never stated a tell, I stated that associative tells shouldn't be used until after a flip. It's not a tell in itself. It's not something scum can avoid.
Or are you stating that scum should know to avoid associative tells by now?
Also, you never pointed out my circular reasoning.
I thought you were talking about jeep's common tells. Nevertheless, Im fine with associative tells, sometimes it wors. It doesnt mean we should automatically discredit it
Argh dammit, time got away from me. Quick phone post, will embellish my thoughts tonight.
Don't anyone hammer before we've had an opportunity to discuss who the venge kill should be also. Whoever's idea it was to always venge the hammer is stupid, because that's just telling any prospective hammerer to be 100% sure they're hitting scum, which of course doesn't happen.
Grey, I'm not saying knowing the setup is a scumtell, I'm saying not knowing the setup is a towntell which is why shadi stating the setup draws a complete blank on the reaction test. Your vote is bad.
@Mp5, Always venge a quickhammer. Except when this rule is commonly stated in the game, because scum wouldn't bother then.

Um... so basically, I contradicted myself, so I'm a liar, so I'm scum? I can't see any other way to read this.
Where did I even say it was a scumtell?
PEdit: Associative tells in this setup are crappy. I'm fine with kinda not using them right now, but the first scumflip could also be the second scumflip and we'd be in a position where we'd like to use them without a relevant scumflip.
That said, that position isn't going to happen until day 3 at the earliest so yeah, we would need a scumflip to still win.
Let me explain why I think associative tells is important in this game.
This set up includes a role that makes one faction autolose upon death, thats each Magfia's Godfather. Even without a flip, we can still base our suspicions on associative tells simply because of the fear of losing the GF. Hence it disallows both bussing and buddying, because once the mafia lose the GF, they lose. So we can use associative tells to see if someone is avoiding talking to someone. Or if someone has an association with someone, the point is, this set up helps us see the potential pairings and hopeople interact with one another, even without a flip. Because obviously, the mafia would be afraid to get their GF lynched right?

I disagree with this partially. I feel like bussing is still pretty much likely in a vengeful game. And the fact that you've said this would probably encourage scum to bus each other. What we won't see is a goon hammering a GF, but bussing and buddying is still probably going to happen.

He seems to be voting for shadi, he thinks he is scummy, but twice now he's voted for the L-1 vote, as if to look town, even if he is suspicious of Shadi. And he votes for gray for not pushing his siv vote, when he himself cannot commit to pressuring shadi.
Im starting to doubt shadi/maki. Scum are not this obvious.
Alex, why are you okay with a lynch today? We've had like what, 3 days irl?

I thought I replied to this, my bad.
I was mostly reaction testing. And he didn't really react to it. But he seems at least anti-town anyway, so I'm leaving my vote on him for now til I can ISO some more people.
