If you actually believe in that, I have some words to tell you. Last year, when Na'Vi was in their pre-TI2 slump, I had it on good record from some of the US pros that they were just in a slump and the "they're just not showing their strats" was kinda bullshit. Teams wax and wane, LGD was running hot up til now. Losing to Na'Vi on LAN is nothing to be sad about, they always do this. In a vacuum, I'd still say LGD is the top team in the world--Na'Vi being 2 then Alliance being 3.

I expect all the chinese teams to make top 8 (rattlesnake is a maybe if they make it against DD), just a matter of who. TI3 winner is going to be 1 of LGD, iG, tongfu, DK, alliance and navi.

I might be still new for kind pro-team like this, I just 6 month follow this, but from my view, Alliance and Na'Vi on the top right now. Though I believe that Mouz, DK, Tongfu, LGD.cn, iG, and Orange will give them a problem.

I believe in Mouz actually.

I think Alliance is top, but if so not by much. The Western teams have certainly began to at the very least match the asian teams since TI2.

Edit: I want Mouz to win, but I know they won't. I'll still be cheering for Synderyn!

I thought this going into G-1, but alliance proved it by how they beat the asian teams. They have the creativity lacking amongst most of the top asian teams to beat them, along with their high and steady level of play.

Navi doesn't need saying, they're navi.

I really hope rattlesnake make it in, because their creativity and aggressiveness is very refreshing. (plus that they're a playforfun team (not actually paid))

They run a lot of 4-core. They did it in TI3 qualifiers too, go dig through some of those games I think.

Oh and in terms of lane, often its dual or tri-lane, where you either split farm or transition farm.

For example, running clock-ds lane, and so on, or gyro-ds-something offlane, and splitting farm between the two.

They are still a core, as they require items to function.

The clock-ds wasn't a good example, but you get the idea somewhat. I don't remember the games specifically, but imagine having 3 heroes that can carry, then having say a supposed support gyro getting farm as well. It wasn't meant to be, but turns into 4-core.

It's like the tongfu-navi game, where tongfu ran 4 position doom that had the highest net worth 14mins in. It doesn't start as 4-core so much as it develops into it I guess? Prob best if you can find games.
