He was played by Conan Stevens in Season 1 and Ian Whyte in Season 2.
Conan left Thrones to play one of the orcs in the second and third Hobbit movie. Rumors suggest that his leaving was not on good terms. If true, then it probably wont be Conan who plays Gregor in Season 4.

no that's not at all what I meant? I found his episode in S3 one of the weakest, and his in S1 had some things I didn't like too. nothing to do with the characterisation I guess, so it's possible he just got kind of "lull" episodes.

One time, back in 'nam, Sudo was set upon by an entire squadron of charlies. He challenged them all to a game of Pictionary, which he won resoundingly. The charlies were forced to not only surrender the skirmish, but also their world-famous chili recipe, which Sudo sold to Texas for a hefty profit. Sudo is a master of diplomacy.
I mean I know I've heard really good things about A Storm of Swords but
The first Sansa chapter where she attends Margaery's supper
omg amazing. funny. wow.
"...Margaery you're clever, be a dear and tell your poor old half-daft grandmother the name of that queer fish from the Summer Isles that puffs up to ten times its own size when you poke it."
"They call them puff fish, Grandmother."
"Of course they do. Summer Islanders have no imagination."
plz let Olenna be at least a recurring character (although I think the preparations which occurred at the end of this chapter are going to turn sour, especially considering Sansa's plans with Dontos)
There will be no kisses tonight
There will be no holding hands tonight
'Cause what is now wasn't there before and should not be
Finished book 1 and now I'm a few chapters into book 2. I really like how the story is told, from the viewpoints of different characters and the weaving storylines. What keeps me hooked is seeing if and when and how all the different story lines converge and what conflict it brings. The stories are so dark and sad. I wonder if anyone in the whole series will ever truly have a happy ending.
i too want her to reveal the soft interior of the hound and for them to gently make love in the summer isles, for sandor may be ugly on the outside but on the inside he is truly beautiful and sansa realises it. he can be her protector and lover all rolled up in to one. oh the butterflies. i love my SanSan

They understand each other so well that they make each other understand tHEMSELVES better, despite all the things that should make them worlds apart. He is the first person to overcome her shallowness, and she is the first person he showed vulnerability to.
Frankly, I'd much rather not have Brienne feel anything romantic toward Jaime. A sense of obligation and respect and admiration and even some friendship/understanding, fine, but she is the kind of character/person who is much better off being defined by herself, not by her romantic attachments. She doesn't need a man to save her or define her. Neither does Sansa, for that matter.
I do like their interactions, but romance? Ugh no. Let Brienne be empowered by her ideals and personality and quest.
