Melvil Dewey did more than just library stuff. He was instrumental in bringing the Winter Olympics to Lake Placid in 1932 (after his death) -- the first time the Olympics were held in the U.S.

Yeah, a tongue in cheek way of doing it that I do not like. It muddies the waters and broadens the level of acceptable behavior for scum.

I'm not defending the guy who claimed scum at all so lets clear that up. If you guys want to lynch him I'm all on board for that but I just didn't want to do it in the first couple pages. Lets get some conversation going which will lead to info later down the road before we lynch him that's what my thinking is. When I said it was a little ridiculous that's why I was against bandwagoning him so quick.

Yeah nobody was going to lynch him unless he self hammered, and a self hammer is an admission of working against the town wincon. Page one is the best time for a bandwagon, no such thing as too quick.
