doc on broseiden tonight because he couldn't be any more obviously town if he were an innocent child

varsoon: lets continue this theory discussion another time/place we're not doing the thread any favors. i think you'll find that the longer you keep using your first post alignment claim schtick, the less you'll be alive on day two as either alignment. if you like cheerleading from the dead thread then carry on by all means

I don't think we've met. I'm the fferyllt half of Rift.

I rather like townblocs.

BRO and I were in Xenoblade with TD. He's posted more in the hours since this game started than he did in the first week of that game.

I think he's town this time.

See, I feel the opposite.

Also, I like that you're willing to type more than one or two words a post in this game.
I don't like that you're openly confirming BRO as town like that.

This doesn't look like TD from Xenoblade, but I also totally forget what early game town-TD looks like. I'll get around to ISOing him in C&H soon and then get back to you on that, but right now I'm null-towning him.

That he has more experiential meta with TD than I do. And that he's not avoiding me. Maybe other stuff in development, but it's a stake in the ground.

Your vote is bad and you should feel bad.

Just quickly looked over early TD in both C&H and Xeno, and this looks like town-TD. He's less pushy and backs off easily in early Xeno before trying to lurk away pressure, whereas in C&H and here he's more actively engaged and willing to hold his ground.

Three rvs votes isn't enough to freak out in anything over 7p. It's never suspect.

I don't care if you do rvs, but you need to do something else in place. Also, you haven't been probing in any way I find productive or not directly motivated towards defending your own hide.

You attempted to create panic about early wagons, when early wagons are NOTHING but good for the town. You haven't confirmed anything, and your bullshit meta will never sway me, and I will ignore it forever and we can have words post game about it.

Because I'd put, like, the 8th vote on someone in RVS if I felt like trolling.

3 votes in a 19p game and he thinks it's suspicious?

@BRO: I really wish that confirming as town would alleviate all the suspicion that gets put on my slot, but, alas. People are dense sometimes. I like your meta analysis on TD, but, as you may recall, I don't like meta being the foundation for judging alignment on other players, but, rather, as a support. If a player's actions in this game are scummy, I'll see that player as scum, and vice-versa.

@Amrun: Looks like we can't be friends if you're calling my meta approach bullshit and you don't like me so much. Which is a pain, 'cus I like making friends. The offer still stands, just stop being such a jerk through your rhetoric, okay?

@Zoidberg: The Xiao head is fresher to the game. He's followed almost all my games to-date and has been through a few games on-site. He currently has a perfect win-record, but we'll see where that goes.

I'm fine with being friends, and that's all well and good, but I will play how I play and I am aggressive. Your meta of claiming your alignment is terrible play, makes the game less fun for everyone, and will eventually be broken. This game? Maybe. So it's null, and I am ignoring it. I'll evaluate you in your play, like I would anyone else.

@Zoidberg: Yeah, I do. You can be dense and ignore the facts but in all ~5 games I've claimed my alignment, I haven't lied about it.
Inb4 someone says it's hypocritical of me, since I don't like to rely on the meta to judge other players.
Did my I tell the truth about my alignment till now? forswear it, sight! For I ne'er saw true alignment-tells till Varsoon.

@Amrun: My meta of claiming alignment is AWESOME and you're upset for some reason about it. It's fine, though. Judge me independent of that. That's what I'd expect from my peers.

The irony. You've self-meta'd how many times so far?

That said, I agree with the rest of your comment. Posts made in the current game are the bulk of the data used to form reads based on stances and stance-changes. To the extent meta comes into play, it's for pattern-matching.

Quit hyperbolising. All I said was, "Who puts three votes on someone in RVS?" It's odd and makes no sense. That's hardly attempting to create panic.
Besides, it got the game started on page two, so I don't see how we haven't moved things forward.
