Early claims are almost always town when they're done the way Waynegg did it - scum in that situation has no real incentive to put themself in the spotlight like that.
Baezu however already had considerable pressure on her and the claim only serves to derail it.

YTWC is a great vote, imo, but a scum result on Baezu should yield the same on BRO. Only one scum can be lynched at a time anyhow. YTWC will still be just as lunch able to,or row as he is today.

I don't see how BRO forgetting this game was bastard implicates either of them. If anything, it gives credence to the idea that BRO is not part of scumteam with a mason on it, otherwise he wouldn't overlook that possibility.

Since Troubles went and pushed his RVS agenda into a reason-driven vote in 83, it really doesn't feel like Baezu is a scum mason.

Good point. I took it a bit differently. Like scum covering for other scum and not realizing they were being lead into a trap until they were already there. Not that he forgot it was bastard and that his scummate was a mason.

But, if he has a mason as a scum partner it would be pretty dumb to lie about masons being always town in such an obvious, disprovable way.

I think the possibility of Baezu not being a mason at all is being overlooked. What Titus said, its not a risky fake claim.

You aren't just lying about one person's role as a fakeclaim mason, you're lying about two. That's two chances to get caught by something like a rolecop investigation, two chances to get vigged off, and god forbid there are

real

masons in the game those are two townies you've confirmed yourself as scum to. Hell, it's not at all unlikely for a coroner to be in a partial-reveal in this game. I'm not trying to say any of these circumstances are true for this game, just that there are too many unaccounted variables for scum to claim mason in this manner.

I can imagine scum-Baezu crumbing early and then fakeclaiming later in the game when his team has more information about the possibility of real masons in the game. However, a claim this early and this unprovoked does not feel like scum to me.
