In post 1315, DeathNote wrote:Where are you pulling that quote from? I don't see me saying "didn't see your case."

And yeah... I understand the case already. I also understand that that is just your opinion on how scum should play.
In post 1310, DeathNote wrote: What I see is you arguing with Amrun about "if I was third party... blah blah blah".
I paraphrased it because its easier than editing to that point. And you still didn't comment on the case.
Wayne's reading...odd, but I think he's trying, he's just decided the quickest way to the market down the street was to create a causality portal and tesseract between the two spaces rather than walking. down. the street. ~ Ghostlin

I dont know. I haven't gone through his case completely yet. I just saw him as an aggressive player when I started skimming through.

Pre-EDIT: There is no case, there is a meta argument in my eyes.

That's motivation. Not meta. Meta is this player does x,y,z. Motivation is working in the known mechanics of a specific game to reach a desired wincon. But then again, I would expect you to play dumb.

And reinforcing with a note that neither head has said a word since I presented the case on them.

Since I think you're on the scum team too, I wouldn't expect you to see the case regardless of how obvious it is.

Serious question ~ do you know how to find motivation behind why someone is pushing what they're pushing and making the plays they're making without having any flips to work off of?

Yes, I think that is the only way I can scum hunt. Looking at a players post and determining the motivation behind it is the best way to scum hunt if you can do it correctly.

Then what behind that particular line do you not find scummy?

Break it down with reasons why a,b,c,d,and e aren't scummy please. A blanket "everything" doesn't cut it.

A immediately destroying the ring

B removing roving Cop from the game

C hunting third party

D not hunting scum

E increasing the odds scum will hit town instead of third party at night

Those are the points of motivation. Please explain how each and everyone of those aren't scum motivated.

Those are the 5 points to my case against Subliminal, to which you say I have no case with. Therefor, show me where I'm wrong.

Looks like you're having an exceedingly hard time with that, so I'll just give you the correct answers...

A town or scum; though it favors scum more. For town it fulfills half of their wincon. For scum it removes the investigative role without even firing a shot and eliminates a faction which would otherwise be out to kill them.

B scum

C scum ~ because third party needs scum dead as well, thus they will help find and eliminate scum. They have no motivation to kill town because they don't have to for a win. It also allows scum to appear to be looking for scum.

D scum

E scum

There is no case because what you are telling me is your opinion on his motivation. You say Subliminal is hunting third party and not scum hunting and yadda yadda and I say, "Hmm yes those are some pretty scummy things to do."

But this is all what you say.

And this is part of why I have so many posts. I have to start over presenting a case for every single player in the game because they don't read what's already been posted.
In post 548, SleepyKrew wrote:UNVOTE:
Amrun if you are scum you have to eat two shoes.
So still waiting on Andy to come around on Spiff.
Still think wayne is RingScum
. I don't know what Andy sees in Who to make him particularly scummy.
VOTE: wayne
This argument with Amrun is ridiculous. This is the second time today he's gotten into an argument like this (ie he did something wrong and not related to the game), and both arguments were with superobvtown people. He's probably RingScum, he might be other scum, but for the love of Aragorn's manly stubble that somehow avoids growing into a manly beard, he needs rope.
If we're wrong, Andy can eat my foot.
It's not opinion. That's what they're doing. Do you need me to requote one of the many places they call for the ring's I mediate destruction as well?
