Jsmith, if you do go through my games youll notice I always get to L-2 the first day. And each and every time ive been town.

There's a bunch of these types of posts where you're referencing past games and/or those that have played them with you as if to prove that you're town somehow. I can't actually tell if that's a honest plea for them to wake up and realize your normal town play - or if it's just as likely that you're using it because you're intentionally playing against your meta and referencing them so that they doubt their reads on you.

So this one leaves me kind of null.

But then we have:

But if I convince you I'm town you'll think I'm trying to redirect your attention.

By your own logic, you don't care if a clear dies.
Well, if you

actually town, at least in your own mind, YOU ARE A CLEAR.
You know of your innocence, if nobody else does.
So you saying that you don't care if you die, again, by your logic, is scummy.

With that said, I understand that a town is less likely to care if they die than a scum might be but that should be because we have done all we can to try and convince town that we're town and provided them with all the information that we can from that point - but I don't feel like you're actually doing that.

If you do end up getting lynched and you do end up flipping town, remember the above when you're silently saying your "I told you so" - because you're not helping us. But at this point, I don't see that happening. I feel like it's more likely that you're going to give everyone a 'FUCK YOU' "bah!" post when you flip scum.

While I agree with your logic that all townies, regardless of their role, should care if they get lynched, your logic that bubba is scummy based on his own argument is flawed imo.

Can I get an outside perspective on this at all? Is 'blue blood' a typical reference for town alignment here? My initial response to this is pretty much 'OhfuckI'mdumb' but given what followed, I wouldn't mind hearing someone else's take on this. I don't think it'll matter much now because my read (to follow) is a bit stronger now than it was then but be good to know if only for future reference...

I think that this mutley, fuzzy and Jason attack on bubba is scummy and that there is a lot of evidence to find out if that could be the case. At this point, I'm going to vote Sakura for not answering me until I find such evidence.

I understand it's flawed - but it just seems really contradictory to his previous arguments. Which is why I explained further my thinking with what followed. Also, was misinterpreting clear to mean something more like innocent. (Ty for explaining. )

Unfortunately I can't confirm the definition of "blue"/"red" on this site, since on EpicMafia, blue means "villager". Still, he clearly said he meant town, so unless you think he's openly lying about something he previously said, in the hopes that nobody would catch something as obvious as lying about his claim, then I think it's safe to say that blue can be construed as town. And even if it isn't, I believe bubba felt that it does.

@bubba: Well perhaps the terminology on the site has changed in the past 2 years, since I haven't played on there since then. Back when I played, blue was synonymous with the actual villager role, since their icon is a guy with a blue shirt. Regardless, I believe that you believe blue = town, so the whole "you claimed prematurely" argument doesn't seem to be applicable to you since I don't think you claimed when you said that blue line.

@Sakura: I highly doubt it's as "easy" as you're making it out to be, and I'm somewhat surprised that you would actually think two of the three scum would have revealed themselves in such a supposedly obvious manner.

Saying now while I'm here, this sounds a little bit like sarcasm.

Based on experience, the fact that he is being sarcastic shows that he thinks he is right about his views (of being part of town). It's pretty hard to believe your lies, considering you know they are lies.

That could go either way. I could be Bubba's scumbuddy and, because of that, be helping him, or I could agree with his views and think his attackers are scummy.
