I'm bored so I'm going to start explaining some insight.

Good scum in this set up (as sakura will know as we were scum in the 516 that failed!):

If they are near the top they need to act like town and take the cop and doctor slots (but taking 1 shot redirector and roleblocker), this is because while they aren't as powerful as other roles you could take as scum, you will be found out quickly when it is obvious you didn't take cop or doctor. That is what town would do with the top 2 slots!

That's part 1

Bad scum: They are too involved with taking roles that would be powerful for them if they are at the top - so jailkeeper, 1 shot vig, vengeful.

With scum having played the picking of roles badly (I will reveal more later)

My bet is they also went down the route of happily risking picking #1.

So from what we can gather from what I told you in part 1

If scum occupy one (or both of the first 2 slots)

They will like go for these roles - jailkeeper, 1 shot Vig, vengeful.

I went for the Jailkeeper slot (went tracker)

For many reasons - if I got it, the top 2 were likely town and I'd have a good investigative role.

and also would keep the jailkeepr slot away from scum below me if the 2 ahead of me were both town.

The problem with your assumption is that it is entirely possible a townie could pick Tracker as their choice to stop scum from getting jailkeeper.The only role I would pick above that as townie is the cop role.

Fair point but my experience from these games, is that when scum has top pick they go jailkeeper
