My argument about her tone is that it's choppy. Contrived. She's a smart player, so you're never going to see a slam dunk tell from her. What youIn post 822, NicCage wrote:I'm not really sure. I suppose you could be right, I'm certainly not townreading her, and I do see some things that could point to a scum mindset. I'm not sure if I really get your arguments based on her tone, but that's not really that important anyway.
Banksys could be a compromise vote for me, the main problem being that LadyL and Banksys don't make sense together.
What do you think about LadyL? Do you buy Nacho's reasoning?willsee a lot in smart scum is a stitched-together quality in their thought process and reactions. They write things for effect. What they do doesn't line up with what they say. Or it lines upcompletely, in a kind of preplanned way. Also, what they say doesn't line up with how they're saying it. It's a subtle thing, and it's really just a question of putting yourself in their shoes, trying to imagine yourself with their personality, and seeing whether what they're doing lines up more with what you'd expect from town or scum. In the case of Banksys, I see scum all over, because I'm constantly reminded of things I've done or felt tempted to do as scum. I feel it on my skin.
I'm really not sure about LadyL. Yeah, she doesn't explain stuff, which comes with certain advantages and disadvantages for town. Among the disadvantages of playing that way is that if for whatever reason you start to trigger scum gut reads you're in a poor position to defend yourself. At the moment I'm inclined to think that she's town, because her reads largely agree with mine. I also don't think that flying off the handle is a scum tell. At all. So, while I understand some of the motivation behind the wagon, I don't think she's the best Day 1 lynch.
I don't buy any of Nacho's reasoning, especially since he hasn't answered my question about his initial Banksys vote."What happened to your eye?"
"Ice pick, 1957. Anymore questions?"
"Just asking, jeez..."-

That was a shockingly casual way to put me at L-1. Did you even know it was L-1?
This is your case against me. You have accused me of being overly consistent and inconsistentarchaebob wrote:What you will see a lot in smart scum is a stitched-together quality in their thought process and reactions. Point out to me one thing I indicated I would say and then said later, other than in my first post in this game when I declared suspicion for Ace.
Also, can we all take a look at these votes, these are how I got to L-2 then L-1:
Ace wrote:VOTE: banksys
I thought you were having fun? that's one flip flop to many honey.
This was over whether or not I'm having fun in this game. It is literally an off topic discussion, but it somehow warrants an L-2. Did you all also notice how easily he floated onto the LLD wagon?
This is L-1. You declare nothing specific about your suspicion for me, you're literally sheeping archaebob who's case is entirely ephemeral. Explain his case back to me and maybe I won't be so upset over your vote.NicCage wrote:At least ISO the two lead wagons.
Alright well I'll go for a Banksys lynch. If Banksys flips scum I would look at Albert tomorrow
If she flips town then I'd look at LadyL
I think Nacho is scummy.
One of the PRs is probably lying.
VOTE: Banksys
Then you post two more suspicions, Nacho, and one of the PRs. Why aren't you directing any of your energy in that direction? Are you actually scumhunting, or do you just want to see a lynch go through smoothly without you taking on too much suspicion?
More later.Last edited by Lucky2u on Fri Sep 06, 2013 6:27 am, edited 2 times in total.-

I've already at length given my reasons for preferring the Banksys wagon. If you disagree then why don't you actually do something about it instead of passively throwing questions into the thread. In post 842, SalmonellaDreams wrote:Why aren't we voting LLD?"What happened to your eye?"

The way Banksys entered gives me a gut scum read
The way Nic Cage talks and acts passively through I think it was between pages 10-12 gives me a guy read too
Ap is the same thing
And one of the three had suspicious voting pattern too; I need to be on a computer to look back but on my read through it rubbed me wrong.
And of everyone else I have either strong towns or nulls.-
