You could have asked. Frankly I don't know why you continued the plan even when you knew that we would have to act according to protocol and shoot down the planes. Seems like a lot of wasted time and energy.

In addition His Holiness is adamantly opposed to war and bloody conflict and has thus declared an embargo on Elybria until such a time as a peacetime economy is restored.

Also, I do have to warn you guys: shooting down satellites do have potential bad consequences for future space flight.

Tor'Kin stops suddenly and looks down... to find a hole in his chest with a rapidly growing bloodstain spreading from it. A scream is heard, and he promptly crumples.

An ambulance arrives ten minutes later, but it is too late. Ambassador Tor'Kin, the Face to the World, is proclaimed dead at the scene.

"Good afternoon," a hollow voice says. "Ambassador Tor'Kin has been killed. There will be radio silence until His Holiness proclaims a new Voice. All important transmissions will be delivered from me until such a Voice is found. Thank you.

In addition His Holiness would like it known that whomever the responsible party is will be found and held accountable for his crimes. An assault on the voice is tantamount to an assault on the Holy Empire at large."
