Right, I KNEW izak would've found one: it's through Tierce/Klaz's portal to the NetherCobbleHub, then down a long tunnel, turn left, down a glass tunnel over lava, back into the OW, down a hallway and down a ladder on the left. Whatever you guys want to do is fine by me as well; I'll do the extra hour or whatever-it-would be to go chunkload the cool stuff everybody's found or I can just throw up the world for download, copy some of the builds and WorldEdit them into a fresh 1.7 world.
I'm going to listen more to the people who actually spend time on the server, because we don't keep the server open for people to not be on it. Rhinox was right on that count the last time this issue was brought up. Tierce, Rhinox, Bulba, Klaz, Claus, izak, UT, ETL, you guys talk it over.
What I'm saying is that a reset might be worth it to give us a new canvas to paint on. Or we can keep what we have and just expand. I'm good either way.

Considering that the world is infinite for all practical purposes, we're not running out of new canvas any time soon. If you do want to start anew, take off for new areas after the update?
I'm good with whatever. I just wanted to know if we were doing a full restart, because if we are, I was going to stop working on the subway system.
Speaking of the subway system... Klaz, your house is in the desert, right? I may need your help lighting up some caves and possibly getting rid of some spawners. Mobs (Mostly zombies) have started to spawn in my tunnels, which is quite a feat, considering they are well lit.

I haven't been playing on vanilla much for the last few weeks, I kind of burnt myself out. So while I did a whole bunch of work resource gathering and stuff I didn't really make anything too impressive. I'd be fine with keeping or resetting, whatever works best.

use Bukkit + a world-border type plugin to "ghost" every chunk within X radius from a designated point on 1.6.4 before updating. That will load every chunk it tells you to as if you ran through them.
If people want me to, I will. I want more input from the people who use the server, it seems like we have a lot of "do whatever"s and I'm saying those people need to decide what the "whatever" is.
Hey Klaz. I just got done lighting up a lot of that cave system. Although, I think I found what the original problem was. I accidentally left a few holes in the tunnel roof, and I think the mobs were falling through.
Also, I left a couple signs for a certain individual. If that individual sees those signs, please contact me in this thread. I have a question/proposition for you. That is all.

Like I said, I'm good either way. We can either copy everything over, and I continue what I'm working on, or we start anew, which would probably be us playing survival until we can get things up and running in the new town, including a new non-cube building from me. They both have their appeal, so I'm fine with whatever Tierce and Rhinox decides.
