Garmr's thought process has appeared very genuine to me, and I can actually understand it. He's actually trying to figure out who scum is and is processing the game in a manner that I don't think scum would. I'm sorry, I just don't see him being scum, and he's actually my strongest townread.
In post 148, Matias wrote: It seems like he went out of his way to completely detract from his argument on Toomai to be able to vote Yiley.
I didn't see that at all. I just saw him pursuing one read over another.

P-edit: Yeah, I F3'd his ISO and couldn't find anything. I have my own ideas about it, but I think that is something better left for Garmr to answer.
Bulbazak is so town that everytime someone votes him Mastin coughs blood.

Why would you think that he would have a read on JKLM prior to that post? I can let him speak, but I find that curious.

Updated read list since clarification...

Scum:

Maxous

Distrusting (but not a solid scum read):

Garmr
Bulb
Dry-Fit

Everyone else stays the same. You and Desperado helped clarify some things, thanks.

Unvote, Vote: Maxous

Wow I sparked a little discussion. Anyway lets look back on it.

I liked Desp and Bulb reaction to Matias. It was questioning into hs reason other than yuck and blah.
In post 132, Matias wrote:I dare any of you to give me 3 good reasons why this guy is town. Secondary sights on Maxous.
His a bit cocky here null but I think this shows he thinks it's a good enough reason to vote in his own mind.

Post 137
Ok things get interesting this post he reveals his reasons some of these have been addressed by Bulb and Desp but I want to answer these myself
But lets mention them here I'll leave out one till latter in my post.

Reason-1: Not getting a joke-Actually didn't get a joke till latter not really a solid lead.

Reason-2 Me not liking the bulbz wagon and apparently not being clear. Yuni is self explanatory JKLM is more a gut read. At the time I didn't like his push on the bulb wagon as it looked like to me he was trying to get mastin to join him so he would have a inflectional player to push the wagon for him so he wouldn't get to much attention from the other team. That was my reasoning for not liking him at the time.

Reason-3: You didn't like the Yunichikawowwow wagon.-Lol I explained enough why I thought she was scum and she was a solid wagon now shes a maybe wagon.

Reason 4 Yiley and Jklm have very similar reasons through Just my gut pings more for Yiley. Also yes I have a couple of reads I haven't said yet because I'm focusing on a couple people at a time otherwise my points might get swept away.

Reason 5
Left this to last for a reason

Clearly I was sleepy this morning.
Garmr's right, wtf was that comment.
The reason I said look at it in none alignment way was I was trying to get you to think. I didn't want to shove Ideas into your head so what I wanted you to see and figure out for yourself was the effect he wanted from his post. Which was distance.

Since we have two scum team distance is going to play a big part in scum hunting since scum will be legit hunting. The next step I was going to ask you to do was think this was this town trying to distance themselves from potential buddying or scum trying to stop a scum slip.
This gave me a definite "insider knowledge" feel, Garmr positing that Toomai has distanced himself from Yiley (even though Yiley really hasn't done THAT much wrong) and then trying to get Maxous to believe the same. I sense a great connect between Maxous and Garmr, like Garmr is doing a lot of coaching. It gives me bad feels.
What I was getting at what I was trying to accomplish was to get to come to his own conclusion and not influence him. Also what I was saying was what Toomai was trying to do was distance himself from Yunichikawowwow not Yiley. This shows the attention your paying to my posts :/

But the real issue here is why do you think it has a insider feel. What insider knowledge would I possess that would influence this post?

Uh you do realise for this to be true the people voting her must genuinely think she is scum and thus there is no reason to assume one situation over the other.

well, neither.
I was trying to imply to you in this post that it was a joke(I understood it) and not a scumslip but I guess I should of been more clear.
I understand your view-point but I don't see it as 'distancing' of any sort.

~

Regarding Yuni's #125 & #126 - I really like them.
Despite Yuni being at L-2, under pressure, not coming across as a strong player and having a very realistic threat of being lynched, Yuni's posts have no hint of nerves, panic and (possibly most importantly) appeasement.
Believing Yuni is town naow.

I have already stated that post#68 is weird .

you though.
Regarding Bulba you were commenting on the
people on his wagon
and did'nt comment on bulba himself.
PV asks you to explain the Yuni wagon and you comment on
Yuni
herself and not the people voting her.
Why the difference of attitude between the two wagons?

Okay. So Desp being Desp, I know he's a competent player enough to do this as scum. ESPECIALLY multiscum games where a scum-him can legitimately scumhunt. But I really like his chain of posts right here, so he's on the town side of null.
In post 136, Desperado wrote:I want Yuni dead so we can lynch Matias after she flips scum. His thought process is so much shallower than Mastin's, and given the game we just finished that is not something I expected to say about Matias.
Basically, this.

Also, Garmr is town because Garmr is showing a town mindset, seems to be legitimately scumhunting, and not manipulating. He's not playing a survivalistic game at all, not being conservative, not anything I'd expect of scum-in-multiscum. He's being active, he's being aggressive, he's thinking for himself, taking initiative, being proactive, and giving some actually-valuable insights. True, not impossible to come from scum, but this seems to be his town self.

By the way? Matias is showing the opposite to me. :P Matias seems to be half-assing his scumhunting, playing a long-term survival game. He's posting, but his posting isn't having much of an impact at all, feeling shallow and hollow overall. His posting has very little aggression, and most of what he's doing is reactive rather than proactive. His insights are similarly "meh", and are not something I'd expect from him if he were town.

I'm not sure I understand. But yes. Scum voting Yuni probably think she's actually scum. It's painfully obvious she isn't, but scum this game are going to be scumhunting. Their scumhunting method will be different, naturally. Their scumhunting's not going to be as in-depth as town. It's going to be more shallow. It's going to be a cross between their scum selves (faking scumhunting) and town selves (real scumhunting), in that they're not going to fully believe what they're pushing, but they ARE going to be somewhat-serious and legitimate.

Also, Anti, stop lurking or I'm lynching your ass. :P

I don't like Matias' catch up post.
There seemed to be a lot of 'Player X is scummy,oh Player Y also thinks player X is scummy, well Player Y is town' going on.
I also did'nt like how Matias' called Bulabazak 'the most likely out of 3' due to him agreeing with JKLM about the vote placement on the wagon - being the 4'th vote out of 10 (buddying?)
His scum read on me is "you don't attempt to explain many of these reads". Well since i've been doing a pretty good job of explaining my scum reads so far (you don't always get that with me  ) I assume this means I'm scummy for not explaining my town reads of people on page 2 (so?). which is weak.
I feel his case on Garmr was meh.

However I *do* like Matias' posts afterwards with how willing he was to discuss and re-evaluate his reads. Even to the point where in #151 he ends up with basically 1 scum-read.

so eh, not sure about Matias.

regarding my vote: I'm happy enough where it is now.
Toomai seems overly quiet and is doing little but lightly chainsaw the Yuni wagon.

I like Mastin for Town, I like Dry-fit and Yiley for scum.

Either works, but let's go for Yiley.

And, yes, I fully believe that TSO is town for the townslip. You can argue that it's easy to fake that as scum, but TSO's posting on it definitely makes it obvious. That was no act. He's town.
