Votes, Lynching, Death
Votes must be in the format of VOTE: Player Name (vote tags) or
VOTE: Player Name
(bold tags). Abbreviations, missing punctuation, and misspellings will be accepted as long as it is obvious to me who is being voted for. If I perceive it as a vote, it will count as a vote.
Unvotes are not necessary to change a vote, but I still appreciate them.
A player will be lynched if a majority of the players have voted for that player; when that happens, no further votes/unvotes will have any effect.
You may not vote for a
No Lynch
in this game.
If no majority has been reached before the deadline, the player with the most votes will be lynched. In case of ties, the player who had the most votes before the tie occurred will be lynched.
All living players, including the one who was lynched, may continue to post during twilight (until the thread is locked).
After you are dead, you may not post again.
Activity
If a player doesn't post in-game after a period of 48 hours, they will be prodded.
If a player is prodded, they have 24 hours to make an in-game post before a replacement will be found.
If a player receives multiple prods and/or prod-dodges excessively, they will be subject to a force-replace.
If you anticipate being unavailable for more than a 48-hour period, let me know by either posting a notice inthread or PMing me.
Misc
THIS
color is reserved for the moderator. Do not use it.
If you have a question,
bold
it inthread so I don’t miss it or PM me. The same goes if you spot any mistakes I may make.
Above all: Play to your win condition, respect your fellow players, and
Daykill: At any time in the game, you may PM the moderator a daykill attempt. If that player is a Mason, they will die. If the player is a Vanilla Townie, the kill backfires and you will suicide.
You have no private channel of communication with your teammate.
Win Condition:
You win when all members of the town are dead or nothing can prevent this from happening.
Your intention of linking that game was to show that I did know how the game works. You know I know how this game works. You also know that I like to get reactions by pretending to not know how this game works.

I'm point this out now so no one can play dumb later. I like this rule because votes carry even more responsibility than they would otherwise.

How many times have you played it? I don't know how effective that reaction test would've been given the player list. I'm aware of every player here at some level and I know we're all pretty knowledgeable of Mafia.
I have this horrid Bluetooth keyboard that flat out doesn't register keystrokes whenever it feels like it. Additionally, I spilled some beer on it a couple weeks back.

I do not know that. How would I know that after two games with you, one in which you got shot by my hydra, and another where I got lynched D2 with you being under heavy suspicion (Fire and Ice)?

I never seen you did this before. Maybe because we just play together at Masons and Mafia.
What kind of information you try to get from it? I believe it wasn't going to work at me, Mala, and Venrob.
Haven't you seen me do tricks in this game before? For example, I claimed Mason in the game that Bert linked while I was actually Mason, thinking scum would think I was trying to get shot as a VT. I believe I've done something similar in games I've played with you in this setup. The reaction I was trying to goad here was a scum trying to encourage me to claim Mason.

I've played in this setup almost every time it's been run. I know all of us are knowledgeable of Mafia, but of this setup? This one's pretty wacky and has a ton of WIFOM, so crazy stuff tends to work here, for both sides.

To the first two sentences, because you linked to a game in which I played this setup. The last one... for some reason I thought you'd played this setup with me before. Sorry.
I've played with most of this playerlist before. awesome.

fun fact: I don't think I've actually played M&M on the forums. so there's that.
vote Bert
If you don't know how to lie, then how do you know when you're being lied to?
No snowflake in an avalanche ever feels responsible.

Maybe it just me, but it looked like you were telling the mason to claim for me (when everyone have different play-style), but w/e.
No matter how high the stakes, sooner or later you're just gonna have to go with your gut.
And maybe, just maybe, that'll take you right where you were supposed to be.
