I once had a pet frog. One night I thought it was dead when I found it floating on it's back in the aquarium. I went to fish it out the next morning, when it moved suddenly .... spooked the bejesus out of me.

I was once floating on my back in the ocean when something poked me in the butt (also spooking the bejesus out of me). Turns out it was a dolphin, and there were a bunch of them swimming around. They didn't get very close again, but it was cool to see them.
